You can use timestop to get a Skyfall! Anywhere you can go far enough off screen you can do this. The level won't load while time is stopped, allowing you to fall straight through the ground

So something about the physics is different that makes the range where you can wiggle onto a platform much smaller. The timing might be different too.

I did this run a while ago but was too busy to upload it i guess (which is really weird in several ways). I have a faster route now but I'll try thhat later (i have transitioned from being busy to being lazy) (also there's a dumb precise trick that depends on level load tech that I am not privy to).

If you restart the level while the game is frozen from a portal transition, the game continues to be frozen after you restart, which messes up the position you spawn in. This can have different results depending on the portal used and the point in time you restarted at. It can either do basically nothing, kill you, or, as shown in the video, cause a skyfall.

Normally, restarting a level resets the state of switches. However, if you exit to title and reenter instead, the game doesn't reset the state of certain switches and they retain the state they were in before exiting. This glitch can be triggered by falling offscreen for a long period of time. The further offscreen you are, the longer the glitch will last. Normally, attempting to bypass a portal whose destination has opposite gravity will just kill you. However, attempting to do it from the portal at the top of level 32 will not only succeed, but cause a skyfall as well.
