I don’t know much about superchargers, so if it’s say a 4.2, would that be bigger then a 2.8? How do the numbers work. I know a lot about turbos but never superchargers.

Help me grasp the superchargers and how they work. Is the smaller the number the bigger the supercharger?
In this case it’s the bigger the supercharger pulley, the less it spins, less horsepower

How do you get the blower this loud though? Going to supercharge my s550 with the department of boost manifold and a GT500 supercharger.
Kenne bell 3.6-4.9 kb blowers are very loud in general. This one has a smaller pulley( 3.5 upper/ 10% lower) on it and plus the hood is off.
