I actually kinda prefer this version more. The instrumentals convey a feeling of "all is lost," and the slow down at the end feels more organic because the song was already slow throughout. In the revamp, it feels more like an abrupt stop because it was going at a quick pace up to that point, which irks me everytime I listen to it, and the instrumental feels kinda bland in comparison. However, it is easier to hear and distinguish who's singing and when in the revamp, and I also like that the revamp had more variation in each character's verses, and that Brick showed up in that version. Other than that, it feels like an 'incomplete' iteration of this song. The image I picture when I listen to this version is that Boomer and Butch are trapped against the wall, fighting a battle they know they can't win just to prolong their survival for as long as they can, and the revamp makes me picture a generic fight scene where they're just battling Blossom in the middle of the town because they ran into each other, making the corruption of Boomer and Butch less impactful because it just happens rather than being an inevitable fate the Rowdyruff boys know is going to happen whether they want it to or not. Just wanted to share my thoughts and criticisms on this song. The revamp isn't bad, but the original just feels more impactful to me. In my opinion, Incomplete could use another edit that takes the pros of both current versions, the variation of singing patterns and Brick's arrival from the revamp, and the slower, tense pace and hopeless melody of the original. Thank you for reading this, looking forward to more Powered Vendetta songs in the future. This is one of my favorite FNF Pibby mods.
