For long-term use, it is recommended to use an adapter with stable 5V power supply. Adapters with fast charging function are not recommended. -- How do I add my favorites? How do I play my favorites after adding them? Add: During playback, long press the last function button to add the current song to the “Favorite” list. How to play: If there are already added songs in the “Favorites” list, during playback, long press the play button to bring up the stored “Favorites” list, and the songs will be played one by one according to the sequential number. Note: The favorite list will be invalidated when you change discs or stop playing. -- Why do some cars not support the Bluetooth of DM13? Some cars need to enter PINCODE, i.e. a 4-digit or multi-digit authentication code before connecting to verify the connection, which is an old Bluetooth protocol. DM13 uses Qualcomm's Bluetooth chip, and Qualcomm has closed the support for PINCODE in Bluetooth version 5.2 and above. So DM13 doesn't support the connection of this program. -Why do some new energy cars need PINCODE connection? You can only ask the car manufacturer about that! -- How to use rip track and record function in DM13? USB REC: USB RECORD port for computer recording. - What is the difference between ripping track and recording? 1. Ripping track is to use a USB flash drive: insert the FAT32 format USB flash drive and rip the track to the USB flash drive. 2. Recording is to connect DM13 to the computer via USB: record the songs from the CD player to the computer via the computer's external input port. 3. The rate of both ripping track and recording is 1x speed. -- How to rip tracks in DM13? DM13 is designed with a CD ripping function, the operation is as follows: 1. Connect a FAT32-format USB flash drive to the POWER IN port. And connect the USB power supply cable to the USB REC port. 2. After turning on the DM13, press the power button briefly to switch to USB OUT mode. 3. Long press the play button to rip the track, the screen displays “REC XXXX”. The ripping is proceeding. 4. Wait until the end of the playback. Turn off the DM13 and unplug the USB flash drive to complete the track ripping. The recording file is saved in the USB flash drive. As the POWER IN port has both power input and data output functions, so please note that when ripping, use the POWER IN port for data output. Note: 1. When ripping, there is no sound from the other outputs of the DM13. 2. Support U disk to rip tracks. The file format of the ripped track is WAV format with a bit rate of 1411kbps; only the CDDA format disk is supported for ripping. - How to record with computer for DM13? 1. Connect the USB cable from computer to the USB REC port. 2. After turning on the DM13, press the power button to switch to USB OUT mode. 3. Select the corresponding output device (KT-USB-AUDIO) on the computer. 4. Run the recording software on the computer and click the record button to record. The DM13 screen displays “REC XXXX” The recording is proceeding. 5. Wait until the end of the playback. Turn off the DM13 and unplug the data USB cable to finish the recording. The recording files will be saved on the computer. - Does this recording function support for MAC? Yes, both MAC and WINDOWS are supported.

When you have the unit set to desktop mode it cuts off power from the internal battery. If you have it plugged into a power source it will function even if it is not connected to a computer.

I have the "NO USB" when I try the record function and I have tried several flash drives etc, any help anyone, Cheers... PS Battery said 2 not 5 and it is Gapless playback true CD spec, Quick press of Menu and power to stop playback.

Have you had any experience with Oakcastle CD 100 players? While I appreciate their Bluetooth capability, the shelf life for the players is only 6 months to a year. I am curious to know how long FiiO will last and if they play CD-R? Thanks!

I think the desktop mode just disconects the battery, it will extemd the life of the product ie your battery will die after a couple of yrs otherwise

Here's some useful information from the cd player FAQ on the official website 😉 The buttons can also be used in combination operations for example: - Press the power button and function selection button (the 1st button and the last button) at the same time to stop the playback - Press the Volume down/up button and the Power button simultaneously to adjust the display brightness. - Press the Previous/Next track button and the Power button simultaneously to set the screen timeout of the display. - Long press the play button when the cover is open, you can check the software version. - Long press the function selection button when the cover is open, firmware update could be enabled after connecting to the power supply and U disk with firmware file.

Really interested. I am a FiiO fan have a lot of devices. The outputs are awesome as usual. Maybe too much to ask but does it support FLAC files?

Congrats! I got mine yesterday. 2 questions. 1. how did you get a black one? When I ordered mine only silver was available. 2. Have you figured out the Bluetooth yet? it took me an hour to figure out that the power button short pressed several times gets you to BT mode I think I paired it. Music was playing but when I turned it off and on it went to pairing mode again. Also BT audio volume doesn't work at least on mine.

I got this yesterday. I think it doesnt need an amp. Using 4.4 balanced output with Ft3 and the sound is amazing! Cons: There is no stop button:) The open button must be on top of the unit! On side, its uncomfy to use. İt has the same chips as Onix Alpha but there is no access to the fast/slow filters. But the sound is amazing! Also desk mode is great. Very good device👍🏻

Thanks have been waiting for the first looks at this, It looks like it would pair nicely with their desktop amp for a good listening experience at home while still being capable of going outside despite it being a bit big as others have said. I quite like the design and the fact it has bluetooth, Only downside i can think of is it not having a remote. Really debating getting one as i'm still a big fan of CD's👍
