The Air Lift Rattler was campaigned by "Fast Eddie" Schartman in 1968.
The Stage 2 Logghe chassis was powered by a nitro-methane burning, supercharged and fuel injected 427 SOHC Mercury motor with a specially prepared C-6 racing transmission.
Ed Schartman campaigned this Flip Top Funny Car until the end of the '68 season and then it was sold due to the departure of factory support.

This was a Box Stock Build-off on Herks Model Works (facebook page) Its from a 1975 Rescue Van Model Kit. We could only use what was in the box. Luckily there was a flyer in the box that I was able to use for the wall art and TV. I had to cut out all the doors, hood, Sun window etc. The exhaust was made from Sprue as was the Glass Packs.
