Model Restorations Plus, showcases restored models from AMT, Revell, Monogram, MPC and others that have been left for dead or forgotten in an attic or garage.
While I mainly concentrate on muscle cars of the 30s to late 70s we will occasionally throw in a Boat, Military plane or even a few 80's vehicles. I also go more into detail in the videos showing restoring Tips and tricks.
I also occasionally customize Diecast cars and trucks from Hotwheels, Matchbox and others.
Changing wheels, adding roll bars, painting. Pretty much what we do with our models.

The Monroe Magnum Ford Courier released in 1978 by AMT / Matchbox when Lesney owned the company. And the 1977 Ford Courier released in 1995 by AMT and ERTL. I'm Finally done with the Trans Am Series 240Z Race Car! It only took over a year. This is the Revell 1969 Datsun 240Z Basic kit (not the Bre) which came out in 1970. Its exactly like real 1:1 cars, stance and tires/wheels make the build. You can make ANY car look good with the right combination.

I'm big into overall aesthetics so I agree with you that rims and tires can make the build in automotive. I get that super detailing engines and everything is cool but at the end of the day, folks are looking at the curves, the paint and the rims/tires

Yea, it leaves a little to be desired. Especially the engine detail.
@modelrestorations speaking about engine... I was @#%& surprised that there are 4 options, so you have 1 extra engine for another project.. what I don't like in that kit is a firewall installing. but it's gonna be 2nd corvette. The first was 1970, and I'm thinking of making it look like a barn find..
also, downside of the kit are decals. there are no decals fir a dashboard

Thanks, man. Yes, it will😅 it needs some insulation, though. It's getting cold and the room is above the barn. So it's literally like the saying. "Shut the door, Do you live in a barn?" 😅
Cool stuff, and I had no idea about the pen base, that's neat! I also looked it up, and Model King does reissues and rare kits. It's a one man operation, hence the simpler box art, but his stuff is apparently great quality.
Thanks for the info. Ill have to look him up. I compared the 2 models and only the box was different. Same color and everything.
