I had been visiting my mother in Md. I came by way of I-395 to get back home to NC....O...M...Gosh. The traffic was horrendous on I-395 for the cherry blossoms! People were PARKING on the bridge across from the Jefferson Memorial.... WALKING their dogs...on I-395. I have never seen anything like that before! It took me 1 1/2 hours to enter the tunnel below DC and to get to I-66W. Yesssss.... the cherry blossoms were beautiful...but don't park on the interstate and walk your dog to see them, please??!!
