This is my wood kiln. I have built this to help my drying process for my woodturning. This is still in its infancy so variations occur during the video!

Meet the Woodturner was very privileged to have John Jordan as a guest. Myself and Helen think its only fitting that make the interview available to everyone. We have spoken with John's wife Vicki and she has given the go ahead. What we are asking is that if you decide to view the interview, please make a donation no matter how small, to John and Vicki's chosen charity. Be sure to reference Joh...
What isn’t to be in awe at!
Okay, but can he turn a bowl from a 2x4? Ha
Finally a channel showing off end results that aren't so common.
I think women turners can bring out the best texturing on bowls. Nice work
Thanks for the interesting video Pat. Kiln drying can be a challenge due to varying properties of wood as you say. Nice kiln!
Thank you John. Every day is a learning day!
His work isn't Woke. His work is spectacular!
Yew know I like this one😂😂. Beautiful grain and lovely bowl Take care my friend Cheers Harold
Thank you kindly Harold :)
Very therapeutic Pat 👍👍
Glad you enjoyed it Alan. Wood therapy is great!
Nice Bowl 👍
Thanks 👍
Is the fan blowing hot or cold air? If cold then what is your heat source? Or do you not need one?
Hi Leona. The de-humidifier is generating a very small amount of heat. The wood being wet creates humidity and moisture in the air. So the dehumidifier removes it. The fan is circulating the air within the space once the temperature rises.
Cool looking kiln Pat. Appears to be working as designed. Take care my friend Cheers Harold
Thank you Harold.
Proud to know this lady who has been a great support and inspiration to myself.
Beautiful work! Thanks😊
Roberto visit our turning club and demonstrated some of his techniques, a true artist!
Elegant!
Absolutely gorgeous...love the design!
Thank you Carol
Beautiful bowl, thanks for sharing.
Thank you Nico!
Really lovely piece Pat. It's so refreshing to see a great turner on TH-cam showing the importance of the body movements and tool positions when turning. Too many (and I'm guilty of it too) just show the close up shot of the piece being turned. Bravo.
Mark I just wanted to show a beautiful piece of wood been turned! Thank you.
What a beautiful bowl, lovely shape too. 😊
Glad you like it Ann.
Beautiful design Pat. I love you technique and style of cutting. Always inspiring. Cheers sir.

Is this the fellow with the 60+ chucks? ... we're going to need to see some proof in the interview :) 👍
This be the fellow Ben. 🙂 I will do my best to get out as many chucks as I can for the interview.
Ben, you of little faith :)
All right, time to be in front of the camera! Bring on the questions! 🧐😁

Fantastic line up Pat. It looks to be a learning weekend for sure.
Very impressive turned items. Plus, it sounds like Leo Kottke on guitar.
Some things are great and some are just so far beyond that. Cannot think of words WOW
Wow! Stunning pieces. Great Addison to the line up Pat! Looking forward to the interview.
Great overview Pat. Might be an idea to leave a link to the supplier in the description. Cheers Mike
Looks like a good well built unit, cheers Colin.
👍🏻🤣😂🤣😂 love it. The disappearing pup is great and Timber looks huge. You might have to edit the pink haired guy out to get more views. 👩🎤
No chance. The nutter stays 🤣🤣
Now they look just a bit special....!!
Lovely creations!
Great pieces Sally. I really like the wormy spalted ones.
There's mortar that than meets the eye. Well done , it looks great !
I so much would like to attend this, but have a conflict. I have attended a demo by him and he is awesome. One of my favorite turners. I made a milk stool after seeing him make one, would like to have shown that at show and tell. Guess I'll have to catch the replay. Thanks for what you and the ladies do. Harold Mills
Thank you Harold. I am sure Keith will be pleased to hear that.
