I got this bike last year and upgraded some parts Dropper , tubeless tire 2.4, and marzocchi fork 130mm. I always ride my bike on trails, and I've also tried the rocky roots section and the 4-foot drop currently no cracks in the frame. solid bike for newbie for developing skills.
As a former (and passionate) Citroen XM V6 driver, I am still addicted to this unique brand and its outstanding cars. Gorgeous to see so many of the older models in pristine conditions in this clip. In the city I live there is a golden CX Pallas in good condition without any single spot of rust. I always have to stop with my bike just to enjoy the lines and elegance. - I am really tempted to buy one (against my attitude, that mainly I use a vehicle via "car sharing") as the prices are pretty low (around 6-10 grants) and astonishingly, many of the CX of the 80s have low milage (around 60-90,000 km on the clock). As such cars are insane expensive (with up to 2,2 EUR / liter for Gasoline and 1.9 EUR / liter for Diesel). Its fact, that most people spend 1/3 of their annual income as employee just for having a car, which I see it as a waste of life time (saying so as I live on my own boat, a 63 year old little 2-master where I also work as Digital Nomad). Just to imagine, I'd have to work 4 months per year just to own a car which stands most of the time front the house/boat. Thats not at all a positive ratio of efficiency, isnt ? Anyhow ... I can understand the passion for Citroen fully. I loved to watch this video and see so many passionate owners taking care for these older models. Tks for uploading. Warm Greetings from Netherlands.

I’m new to bicycles.. would this kind of bike be good for just casually riding around pathways and dirt pathways and around the city
If you are never going to do serious off-roading/mountain biking, you might be better off looking at what they call a "dual sport" or "hybrid" for pavement and flat dirt pathways in a city. They'll be less expensive and better suit that type of riding, because they'll also usually have higher gearing for more speed....something like a Kona Splice.

30 KM in perfect condition
After a year and 600km , now only 18- 20km
20 km was my max...but im 90 kg, and its winter, but overall its a good toy

The acceleleration is pretty good. Km/h to mph. I have not found a way to do this. Unfortunately there is no app in Europe.

Szia, köszi! Országúton 6-7, városban 8-9 liter. Viszonylag rövid a váltója. Hiába punto motor, a váltó más. Én nagyon szeretem, könnyen szerelhető és olcsón fenntartható, megbízható típus . Ez ráadásul valami fura felszereltség, mert elektromos ablak, két légzsák, ülésfűtés + klíma... 2001-ben! Őrület 😃

Loved the CX as the formidable successor to the DS - without turning headlights, engine noise and brake button. The Prestige and Safari Wagon had the same wheelbase as the DS and rode better than standard CX. The pod controls, rotating drum speedo & tacho plus the DIRAVI self centring steering from the SM made driving the CX like a low flying rocket ship. Dad had a new 1977 CX 2400 carbie Pallas C Matic in Australia, mum took over his GS1220 C matic. I had a magnificent new 1978 RHD CX 2400 EFI Prestige 5 speed with leather in UK & Europe of 18 months before shipping home Down Under. Amazing high speed tourer...
