SACADA Behavioral Health Projects 2022-2024
Texas Health and Human Services Commission allocated H.R. 133 and American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds to the San Antonio Council on Alcohol and Drug Awareness (SACADA) community coalitions in Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe and Kendall counties to expand their primary prevention work. The coalitions worked with community partners to enhance environmental conditions and provide stress reduction and healing activities through projects like renovating outdoor spaces to optimize behavioral health and wellness. These initiatives were rooted in significant research around substance misuse risk and protective factors, the social determinants of health, and behavioral health equity. SACADA Coalition staff added Atascosa and Wilson counties.

I wish I’d had this available when I was a teen.
These people are sick. Drug addicts sob and cry - and buy drugs and act helpless. The psychiatrists sob and cry, and cuddle the addicts. Meanwhile, no one is allowed to get angry and do something about the cartels and gangs, or when the belligerent drug users cripple other people. This is a waste.
I think this is the school I go to
