@@charliebahama sooooo jealous, that you had a chance to talk with Tony McKay/Exuma, did you ever get to see him perform LIVE there? Thank You for having these videos up on your account of speaking with him!!! When I was a teen maybe, my own dad asked (as we were on the phone); "Wanna Hear Some Good Music Kiddo?" (he said); light some candles, turn the lights out, light up a joint and sit back and relax, while listening to Exuma!!! I am now 56 and still dig those records!!! I was lucky to find and also still have it "Brand New / Sealed" Master of Exuma Reicarnation on 8-Track, I doubt I ever want to open it... though I have a 8-Track Player- I want to keep it in great shape

@@UnleashedBeastMJL oh yes, i knew tony very well. he was a great friend right up until he died. i saw him perform many times and even directed a video or 2 of his back in the day. i bought 2 of his paintings as well and he was soooo creative, fun, super nice, humble and of course talented...

@@charliebahama this is awesome to know (all of your info) I am so sure, he was a pretty down-to-earth human being I believe my dad also had a chance to see him once, he mentioned seeing Exuma performing in Balboa Park in California (near or in San Diego) I hope you still have those paintings, not just awesome work he did on his paintings (but I am sure they have meaning behind the art for you)

i wish i had more... i think we digitized all we have and put the clips up on this charlie bahama youtube channel... i have lots of other iconic interviews that we will digitize as we go along, but it takes time... hopefully you will subscribe, like and share these clips to the world... also we will continue to bring you new content and shows with todays stars and personalities as well as living legends ...

i know luke and interviewed him on my classic show, electric air back in the 90's. i will post some clips as we keep digitizing the classic electric air shows, but i did not know trina was bahamian!

thx for the heads up concerning counsel woman shannon. yes, i know all about the bahamian contribution to making miami and south florida what it is today. in fact my grandparents also came over to coconut grove in early 1900's and i have been filming a new documentary about the bahamians who came and made south florida what it is today... thx for watching and subscribe, like, share and spread the word... we should be on US TV soon...

@@charliebahama Dr.paul george is an avid historian on the bahamian connection with south florida and the underground railroad which predates bahamians going on the contract and working on henry flagler's railways could be an awsome interview keep up the great work brother.

you definitely have to eat at the cafe at @oneeleuthera . the food is fresh from the farm and delicious. not sure of where to shop but you can ask the locals at one eleuthera. if you have a car and can drive, then go further south to the restaurant at Cape Eleuthera and also go to get a good Bahamian crack conch at Sheryl's Inn down that way... i know food, ain't too sure about shopping...
