Is the tube the auger goes in that has the cutout and the end that has water holes Gray schedule 40 pvc or is it steel? Looks like the gray schedule 40 since it has the flanged/expanded end to slide over the outlet of the hopper.

Did you ever do a video or instructions with more size dimensions on the cut parts or assembly, or is this something you would think about selling? Really interested and looking to do something like this right away.

This is a nice mudmixer DIY. While I know those HF drills are cheap, I'd try to find a treadmill or something with an electric motor that someone sets out for trash day and scavenge the motor from it. You need a larger motor on that thing for any larger projects. Also, it would probably allow you to have a better dial to control the speed. Nice work! I'd love to have some sort of cnc cutter like that. I was a mechanical designer for 20+ years, so I can design in Solidworks and other CAD software, so would be easy to create some DIY stuff to cut. I recently came across another DIY mixer that a guy made in a propane tank and with a fence post type auger and it was powered by a tractor PTO shaft. I really like that idea because my dad has 2 tractors and just the increased volume you could mix would be great. This just happened to mine and here I am doing the research to try to figure out a solution. I dont have one but might try to weld it together so it lasts a couple jobs (and I can try to break even on it). If anyone has pictures of the weld job on it I would like to see them.

Update: No failures yet mixing 3 full pallets of 60 lb bags. the 120 volt water solenoid I believe is failing due to dirt in the water line. Might add a filter screen to the water inlet

Nice job and good videos. How much volume does the auger set-up push out, could you use as a pump and hook up a pool hose to it to be able to use like a cement pumper truck?
