This little song here is my testimony I will never forget that day when Jesus saved my soul from hell..I was walking up and down an old dusty gravel road that day..my heart was troubled all day I knew within my heart that somthing was going to happen that day for I was troubled all day..I went to a little cottage prayer meeting that Saturday night that's when Jesus saved my soul..it always feels better every time I tell it. Praise his Holy,and sweet name..🙏 Thank you all for sharing this little song it's means very much to my soul.you all are always a blessing to my soul. Thank you all!❤

I became a fan of The Primitives as a child, back in the 1970's, when it was the original four. Back then, I watched them on Sunday mornings before church on WLOS Chanel 13 out of Ashville, NC. They've added some fine additional members through the years. I admire their enduring ministry in song.

I love this song i could listen to it all day.

Although I appreciate the heart behind this song, it's important to remember we are already righteous. The Word says that we are the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus. The only way to be emptied of every selfish thing is to literally and physically die. It is the old mindset that needs to be renewed (Romans 12:1,2) to who we are in Christ that keeps telling us that we need to be emptied. We have already been cleansed and made righteous. (2 Cor 5:21). Please listen to Andrew Wommack Ministries, The True Nature of God. He has a TH-cam channel and also a website that has thousands of free teachings that has changed my life and lines up with the Word. Until heaven brothers & sisters. 💕

What is the scriptural basis for this song? Where does it say in the King James Bible that names are written down or recorded in a record book when a person is saved. Clearly there is a book of life, but when were the names recorded there? The bible says names were written before the foundations of the world. And did not Moses, King David and Christ himself all make reference to names being blotted out? King David prayed that names be blotted out from the book of the living. Why would he pray this if it could not happen? Its a nice sounding song, but I wonder if its not heresy?
