Excellent videos. So glad I found your page. I am just a flight simmer, but I always fly out of EGNF. I never landed there, I usually land at Robin Hood as it has ILS. However, after watching this I had an attempt. What do you think? How did you record the ATC with the GoPro?

Oops, readback of QFE was wrong at 26:00 by someone and not corrected by the controller.

I am traveling on a Dreamliner for the first time from Manchester to Alicante Saturday July 22nd at 6am. Seat 20A going and 35A coming back.

Hi mate, Erm, the ILS is actually quite easy, the needles get twitchy as you get closer but it's not too bad, especially if radar vectored as they tell you where to go.

Hi, it was G-PNIX, a blue and white aircraft. As for the flyby, I think the locals may get a little annoyed lol

Yeah, the vid doesn't quite show the crosswind, but we were the last to use 24, they used 18 after that. Good practise though lol

Yeah I can't figure out why it records to rubbish. I've bought a new cable that goes straight into the camera so hopefully it will be better next time.

Yeah, we try and keep the speed up on windy approaches in case we get some wind shear that causes a big speed drop (on the smaller planes anyway)
