You need to put lid 180 degrees opposite side from where u want it and it will stop perfect where you want it I have one

Start the threads (screw down grooves) in quarter turns until opening lines up where u want it..

On the BrüMate website on the TH-cam, he explains how to open the lid lids made to be able to drink carbonated drinks so it’s design a bit different. You have to start it at a certain position and he shows how to do that those ridges right by the slider lid, locking mechanism you’re supposed to put your hand on that in order to turn the lid, not from the rim put your fingers on that little ridge and rhen wrist it

There's a video put out by the company that shows how to easily put the lid on for right or left handed people and the easy way to take it off. I have the cup and no problems. I love it and ordered 2 more. Also, the biggest selling point for me is the rubber bottom. I hate the Stanley cups because the cups have an annoying clunk when you set it on the counter.

Mine never lined up either! But I just rub a tiny bit of coconut oil around the gasket and it works perfectly now!! And that “gap” locks down tight. Hope this helps people.

I didn't like it either. I returned it. It doesn't smell like cotton candy. Try DW candle "Magic Unicorn" cotton candy candle. It smells 100% like cotton candy!

It's- Yea, or Nay,. lol. Brumate lids 'are' hard to position, And while the lid is totally leak proof, they are HARD to open if you push too hard to close it. I agree with you. Sometimes, the sealing gasket comes loose and squeezes into the lid too. I broke a lid by dropping it and it took NINE MONTHS for them to have re-placement lids back in stock!... And the lids are all in black, so you can't match your cup. Update: My new lid very nearly broke too! I tend to screw things on tightly, and when I did, the smaller portion of the lid popped off. Then, once my son got it back on, We had to work for about ten minutes to unscrew the lid! Once that thing gets tight, It's nearly impossible to open! I think they're backing away from this model, because they came up with something called Rotera now. Hopefully, that one's better!

I could be wrong, but in my experience with most tumblers, lids are easier to twist if the hole cover is opened (maybe less vacuum) or your unit just got a defected lid. Also sugary drinks sometimes makes the lid harder to open too when they are dried. Thank you for the review.

I literally just watched a video before this one that showed how to put the lid on for right or left handed use. And how to get the lid on and off-not by putting your hand over the top. There are little ridges to push on.

Please consider adding photo of yourself wearing item or show stock photo ad so we can see what it looks like on someone. Also, adding the name of the item in your notes would be helpful in case someone wants to try to purchase. That’s generally why I watch clothing reviews …I’m sure many other viewers do the same. On a positive note, the quality of your video recording is good. I can hear and see you well and the information you provide about each item is very good.

Not getting what you thought you were getting is the reason I don't order clothes/shoes online, espec. if they're coming from Asia. I want to be able to touch my clothes before I buy to determine the quality. Which is why I'm worried about brick and mortar stores going away. Some online companies in Asia are not the easiest to return things - except Temu and Shop Miss A.
