Corrective Action- Search all the scriptures continually to discover esoteric wisdom, new meanings, and practical applications.

Thanks, Pastor Steve, for so much to contemplate & to act upon. Your message also reminds me of 1 John 1:9 (If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.) and Psalm 51:12 (Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation ... ).

Thank you, Pastor Steve, for using an old story to teach us to wait faithfully for God’s provisions-knowing God will sustain us with what we have, with just enough, incrementally, overcoming one trial at a time, hour-by-hour, day-by-day.

Thanks, Pastor Steve, for your reminder that when God seems not to answer my prayers, I must remember that “No” is an answer. - And thanks also for reminding me to depend upon God daily, to do the hard work required for spiritual growth, and not to assume that my desire is God’s will.

I was brought up believing all prayer must be extemporaneous, even impromptu. However, there is great efficacy in crafting well thought-out prayers, and also in appropriating prayers of others who have clearly expressed our inarticulate thoughts. Thanks for your insight on Hannah's prayer.

Thanks for helping me to remember -- when in the gap, in times of doubt & unfulfilled promises -- God keeps his promises, and uses ordinary people to fulfill his purposes. And yes, I recall my baptism and God's promises very vividly, but need to do a better job of following up on my end of the bargain.

Today's thought-provoking sermon reminds me to beware of the serpents lurking in my life, tempting me to break the rules; and also reminds me that I cannot hide from God.

Your message today reminds me to continue praying Psalm 25:7 every day: "Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions : according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD."

Among other things, your message today reminds me of God's commandment: "Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

Your insightful exposition of Psalm 23 reminds me to make the Lord my shepherd, consciously & continually, even now in old age, in good times as well as times that are not so good.

Thanks for pointing out that the Psalms are for God’s glory and our benefit - a factor to remember when praying & meditating in the Psalms. Thanks also for your advice to feast & delight in God’s word and in good things; and for your reminder to keep studying & doing the book of James.
