Hamilton Automatics1
Hamilton Automatics was a firm that specialized in remanufacturing Brown & Sharpe Automatic Screw Machines. At Hamilton Automatics, it was our goal that the standards for quality, performance and accuracy could only be rivaled by a brand new machine straight out of the Brown & Sharpe factory

Scott, Do you have any of the rebuild procedures available from the business? I am in the process of rebuilding my own machines.
I love these machines, i can only hope you still tinker with them.
Poor man,s Index auto. I,ve spent many years on both types.
actully prefer the cva to a index more throw
@@miguelcastaneda7236 In the 1960's we had 30 brown & sharpes and C.V.A, but we invested in Tornos AS14 multi's which took all of the high volumn work.
You can save the cost of having to buy or rebuilding a machine if you can get your customers to open up their tolerances. You can't expect to hold a +/- .005 tolerance if the machine its self is .030 out which is what you'll find in most jobbing shops.
I'm sorry luwdmke… Can you explain how a machine is ".030 out"?
.030" Out? I don't think you could find a nameplate "out" by .030" on any Brown & Sharpe regardless of its condition, let alone anything geometrically.
@@scotthamilton7556 DO you still rebuild B&S screw machines? I can't find you on the web
I couldn't find them either. Maybe he is busy fixing luwdmkes machines. Sure looks like they did good work
yes you can have held + -.001 double feed cam two to three hundereths dwell
Nice work.
Wonderful machines but here in my country, Colombia; very hard to find one in a decent state, all are but scrap. What a pity!
sorry we shipped alot of those as turn key with cams ...saw they were junk but customers there wanted anything
@@miguelcastaneda7236 miguel can we talk about the machines?
Who in the fucking hell are they trying to kid? I'd rather have a bottle in front of me....than a frontal lobotomy.
Huh?
What?
