I BELIEVED SATAN AND SIN WERE ALMOST INVINCIBLE, THAT MY CHRISTIANITY WAS TO SIN, CONFESS, BE FORGIVEN, SIN AGAIN, CONFESS, BE FORGIVEN...AND HOPE I DID NOT DIE ON STAGE "SIN AGAIN" TO LOSE MY SALVATION, SO I HAD THIS QUESTION: "WHAT IS GRACE???THE ONLY REAL GRACE I EXPERIENCED WAS WITH MY CAR INSURANCE: I CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM THAT I HAD NOT MONEY AT THE MOMENT AND I WILL SUBMIT MY TAGS TO DMV WITH MY REGISTRATION FOR 10 DAYS, THEY TOLD ME THAT IF I PLEDGE A FUTURE PAYMENT I WILL HAVE A PERIOD OF GRACE COVERED UNTIL THEY CASH MY PLEDGE, WOW! I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT THIS AND I PLEDGE AN AUTOMATIC PAYMENT WITHDRAWALL FROM MY BANK IN 10 DAYS, AND I WAS COVERED AS IF JUST PAID THEN AND THERE. 10 DAYS OF GRACE! I WAS SO HAPPY! BUT GOD OR JESUS GRACE: HOW IT WORKS??? Romans 6: 14 For sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under law but under grace. SO, I AM UNDER GRACE?? SIN HAVE NOT DOMINION OVER ME??HOW COME?? I NEEDE TO REALLY UNDERSTAND WHY AND HOW: Romans 6: 18 And having been set free from sin, you became slaves of righteousness. WHAT I UNDERSTOOD IS THIS: I BECOME A SLAVE OF THE 10 COMMANDMENTS TO OBEY IT. I DECIDED THAT IS NOT TO BAD AT ALL, AND REALLY THAT WAS MY DESIRE ALL ALONG, AND I AGREE: I READ ALL ROMANS 6 TO CLEAR IN MY MIND WHAT IT MEANS TO BE SLAVE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS: A SLAVE REALLY HAD NOT CHOICE BUT TO OBEY, AND I WAS QUITE HAPPY THAT I WILL NOT HAVE A CHOICE BUT TO OBEY, BECAUSE BEFORE I ALSO DID NOT HAVE A CHOICE BUT DISOBEY. BETWEEN BOTH NOT CHOICES I PREFERRED TO BE A SLAVE OF GOD. 22 But now having been set free from sin, and having become slaves of God, you have your fruit to holiness, and the end, everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. WILLINGLY AND WITH HAPPINESS ACCEPTED THIS NEW SLAVERY WITH BETTER TERMS AND A PRIZE AT THE END. I RECOGNIZED THAT REALLY I HAVE ONLY TWO CHOICES: CHOOSE WHO IS GOING TO BE MY MASTER. BUT WHAT IS GRACE???IT IS LIKE AN INSURANCE THAT GOD PUT ON US WHILE WE STILL ARE GROWING IN FAITH, KNOWLEDGE, HOLINESS, FITNESS TO LIVE FACE TO FACE WITH GOD, IT IS A LIFETIME INSURANCE THAT COVERED ALL OUR SINS AND MISTAKES OF THE PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, WE ONLY HAVE TO DO A PROPER CLAIM AND WE CONTINUE OUR PROGRESS TO BECOME TOTALY CHILDREN OF GOD; THE GRACE WILL COVER OUR MISTAKES IN OUR QUEST FOR HOLINESS AND SONSHIP. JESUS BOUGHT US, WE ARE HIS PROPERTY, AND HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR US, OUR JOB IS TO SUBMIT, SURRENDER AND OBEY, BECAUSE THE ONLY CHOICE WE HAVE IS WHO WE WANT AS A MASTER. I PREFER TO BE MASTERED BY MY CREATOR WHO PAID SUCH A PRICE TO MADE ME AGAIN HIS CHILD, I KNOW THAT THIS SITUATION IS TEMPORARY, AND I WILL RECOVER MY FREEDOM IN HEAVENS WHEN NOT SIN AND EVIL WILL EXIST AND MY CHARACTER WILL REFLECT JESUS CHARACTER: LOVE AND JUSTICE.

A little disagreement but not a fight.. when I found Christ, I was all in and was no looking back. Yes I have backslid but prompting of the spirit brought me back. However, before that time, I had 'walked the isle' and been dunken 3 times, once in a mass youth revival type thing. Yet, I knew Him not until I was 33 and coming home from church and His spirit prompted me 'have you been save?' After an 18 mile ride of my arguing of previous dunks, I could not say yes...until that night. What a glorious night. Even though I thought I had gone through the motions, if I died the day before, I would be in he'll with a Christian funeral. My argument is that MANY people have gone through the motions and had a 'feel good moment ' that rarely last past graduation. Satan knows the difference and knows who to go for. If a person can't answer truthfully 'if I die today, where will I spend eternity, (without hesitation), they are not saved. Enjoy your devotional.
