Steep was a bit of an understatement for this property. There was Kikuyu grass packed full of all the old fallen leaves from the hillside of deciduous trees and these made for a bit of a slippery lower base. The contour underneath was also rather uneven/undulating. This truely was Billygoat style with not only going straight up but also navigating sideways across the slope.

Lovely vineyard with some steep sections that caused problems for the standard tractor in the Winter months when things got slippery, especially with turning at the end of rows. Over time the tractor had created ruts alongside the vines and also compacted the earth around the root laterals due to it's weigth.
