Even Lord Krishna is a Karuppan - Karuppukku ezhu azhagu !
Really thoughtful episode. Growing up in brown/tamil culture we are already raised to be people pleasers. As you grow older and having a westernized mindset, you start to put yourself on first place. Sometimes there are childhood friends or even family members, who even can't understand you that you started to set boundaries, because they blame you for not being there for them or changing yourself. This is a really something which I have learned in a hard way. You are doing great guys 👌
Super bros! continue pannunga , kandippa channel grow aagum !
I think if you can communicate it well enough you can stop people pleasing. In my case Im afraid that by saying nothing I seem like a people pleaser whilst in truth I just dont want to bother. Well these are things I can only work on in practice anyways. Greetings

Könnt ihr mir erklären wieso Deutschland, Amerika usw Israel unterstützten? Ich habe bisschen recherchiert aber ein triftigen Grund konnte ich nicht finden.
I have a doubt..and this might sound silly .. but is any solution at all which is neutral to both the parties ? What do you guys thinks are possible better ways of handling things ?

I think live in relationships affects tamil girls more than boys because the way people see it is just sexual so they know the couple will have sex and god forbid if they break up the girl is seen as used property 🥲
Top topic choice from the audience-credits to you- whoever you are 👌🏾, thanks for taking this on your podcast series ☺ This is something that has bothered me since my childhood, especially in our society, and it took time to get rid of it. I agree with you guys that education is really important, and being educated doesn't depend on holding degrees. the academic way as well as the practical way, such as apprenticeship are both good ways of being educated. But this never defines a person's worth and intelligence. There are people who love academic way of learning (more theoretical) and people who love to learn more practical and application-oriented. In my opinion, nobody has the privilege to behave disrespectful towards somebody only because they reach some status. If you are convinced about that, you have to ask yourself, "Did I reach that point in life to degrade somebody?" Always remember somehow you started at this point as well ...may it was the trigger for you that time. 😉 It is true that the world is unfair. In my opinion, you have to become stronger and break this norm so that this thought of degradation won't arise!🙌🏾
An insightful topic! Journaling is also a good habit to add in your routine which keeps your mind clear in order to prevent from a negative mindset and unnecessary distractions. This habit can also boost your energy level for the day. Consistency is always the key to reach your goals. ☺
Tolle Ratschläge!! Ich habe diese Folge mehr gelacht, als gelernt :D

So friend… 😌 I wish the comedian had started with “I love all Tamils no matter where they are from” then the way he said the jokes would have hit different. I’ve noticed this divide over decades and it is only recently that I couldn’t bear it any more and I voiced out… as you said freedom of speech but with freedom comes responsibility. I’m glad my opinion triggered this very important message that u have both shared.. “to stick together”Thank you 🙏🏽❤️ Also.. It was more the reactions that people were having at the jokes that triggered me than the jokes it self. Specifically it’s the reaction that someone who is involved my project had. I had to understand the persons outlook which is why I took that conversation quite seriously… Why it mattered so much that the person involved in the project didn’t support a divide is because.. We as artists have the power to influence society that’s the amazing thing! we paint the future because we influence thought and at a glance that post really looked like it was encouraging a divide rather than bringing people together..Hence my concern.. we are only a handful and yet even among us we are split. Like u said they “divide and conquer” the British were known for that.. (india n Pakistan for example ) anyway even among Tamils There is an “us and them.. “ as u skilfully demonstrated… and of course There is “freedom of speech” but there is also “ethics in art.. “ this is why representation matters. It’s quite irresponsible to put out art without thinking about how it could affect society.. in my opinion an artist needs to consider the climate of society.. that’s how powerful our tool is. same thing happened in Deepa Mehta’s Funny boy. Although her cast were sympathisers from various backgrounds including Sinhalese.. by casting them in tamil roles and not ensuring they speak in Tamil properly she just added to erasure. It wouldn’t hav mattered had this film been the 50th film to come out about the topic.. but this is the first of its kind and a prominent one and so it did matter. That was irresponsible and inconsiderate of her. N Rn there is a divide among Tamils.. I find his jokes funny n I too would laugh had he sandwiched it differently. All I saw in the comments was a Divide and that saddened me more than anything. I hav Jaffna blood in me and I have Indian blood in me so the divide hurts more I guess. Thank you for choosing to speak about this topic 🦋🙏🏽
Great content and perspective. Honestly I show up here just for the sound of Tamil - y’all are doing a great job!
Great Topic Guys! Much Love ❤🙌
These women cant leave their man for the same reason we still love our Parents eventhough they used physical violence on us. As Mathu said he blames himself and his behavior for his Parents reaction. Because thats how we are contioned . We blame ourself because we thought our parents are wise and they know everything better but in reality the are not. They are human aswell they make mistake and they didnt has the chance to heal from their abuse. But our Generation has do better. How is that okay when a full grown up person beat up a small child, how can we justify that.
