Oh man, I remember seeing the commercial for these guys when I was 5 years old! I wanted one SOOO bad, but never got or found one. They were apparently exclusive to 'Woolco' which was a retail outlet. The only one (that I knew of) in my city got turned into a Walmart that year. I never saw these guys in any toy isles, so they must have only distributed a small batch of them. Even at 37, I would still love to have the guy in the goalie mask.

I can confirm that these scenes were included in the version that aired on American TV around Christmas in 1988 or close to that. We recorded both Ewok movies on the VCR (complete with the commercials) and I probably watched that tape 1000 times growing up. I still have it. I've been thinking of sending it off to one of those digital conversion services.

From a worn out VHS Tape from the 1980s, when Star Trek 3 was aired on CTV scenes were edited for content and time. As a result some scenes were altered. Sorry about the Poor Audio but like I said this is from an old VHS

I wish I knew who made this. I would love nothing more than to be able to reduce the sound of the actors' dialogue and increase the volume of the background music. But I also wish I knew what technology or program was used. So I guess that will always be a mystery.

When I was a kid, this commercial used to scare me so bad! The Grim Reaper was particularly horrifying. I’m 35 now and listening to it brings back memories. Now it’s just silly!
