I've just bought this little saw seems to be built well. I've got an ms 180c and 291 and really like them so I'm sure this will be great for branches and lite enough to climb trees with.

The ms170 is a great saw. I do not, however, care much for the newer ms162 that took it's place. I've never tried the ms194, but it looks like a great saw. My favorite Stihl chainsaw is the ms261cm!

Ive got a MS310 with a 20in bar and thinking about buying a new saw, torn between 392CM and the 400CM, I work the the land clearing business so we drop trees quite regularly and I work in the Appalachian Mountains, Weight and price between both play a factor, not sure which one I should buy…

By the sound your file is about dull . Slow down and I like to tap my file after about 2 cutters to clean it out a bit . But keep on you are doing a good job . Not criticizing whatsoever just some advice from an old timer.
