haha, loved the fade to black as 'wellllll might have to push this thing.' My suggestion would be that when you turn this into a cruiser, you don't pour gasoline all over yourself and your fiends while listening to 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go'.
Mer....man!!!
I love refrigerators! ❄️
🥶
What do you do if you open that differential and you do find the dreaded danger milkshake?
Drink up! Just clean it out, make sure the gears aren't chewed up, get it sealed good when closing and refill. Maybe make sure you don't have a differental breather loose or something.
Why wait for 40 inch tires? Imagine the clearance they'd provide when it's time to treat that frame rust!
I could stand under it to do all the work!
In the northern hemisphere, moss will more often grow on the north side.
The more you know! 🌠
You should paint it lime green!
Gross! How about moss green?

Would love to hear a full review of your thoughts on the lift, and what you would do different.
I'll be doing a full review of it soon. I'm getting bigger tires and seeing how it holds up to that as well.
You could bend the bracket instead of your brake line...🙂
@@robertfox4524 That should definitely be done too. I was trying to keep everything as close to the frame as I could.
@@robertfox4524 Definitely in the works! I'm getting bigger tires soon and I'll see how the lift holds up to them.
Very well done! I'm in the middle of doing that same lift myself
It has been a great lift!
Great Video, Anyone experiencing vibrations while idling at a stop with the vehicle in drive and foot on the brake. When I put it in park the vibration subsides. This started after the install. Thx
Mine wasn't doing it at first. This has been installed about a year now and I just started having a little rattle, at idle, when it is cold. I'll probably crawl under there and tighten it up. Hopefully that fixes it.
I figured out the vibrating was the bolts that go up into the motor mount. They came loose. Those bolts were a nightmare to tighten down because you have no room to turn a wrench and socket won't fit between the brackets and control arm. If they come loose again I'll take the control arm off.
@@gofasters1 I agree they were. I'll have to hit mine again then. I might throw some loctite in them!
Way to go wearing your ear protection! Fun video. Now I feel confident I can install a lift kit. <3
I already can't hear enough! I'd like to keep my eyes, ears, and fingers so saftey first! Time to put a lift on the electric spaceship and go offroading?

I’ve been driving this lift for about two months and am happy with it. It feels stiffer than stock in a good way. I’m not sure if I had a bad stock shock before, but I have way less body roll on sharp turns . I also used the geo brackets. I decided to pay a shop to do it. I could’ve done it myself and have in the past, I just didn’t feel like dealing with it or running into something and not having the correct tools. Nice vid . It’s always Nice to have these how to videos floating around.
Nice video! I can't wait to see the stars! 🌃
🌠
How long did that install take you all told? I'm always impressed in these videos that you get all this work done without needing to use 'bleep' for language constantly, haha. Important time stamp for future generations 31:12
It was a full 12 hours the first day. Then I had to drive around and find a bolt that the kit sent wrong. Then had to find a better impact. It was a full 2 days to get it all done. I even had experience basically doing this to the old Jeep too. Lots of little things to do!
@@theorionnebula707 The things men do for a couple inches.
Must be bigger, even if it makes it worse!
What's the secret to getting that 25mm m10 bolt to go in the engine mount clips? It's refusing to get started on either side for me. It's like it's 5mm short
They might have sent the wront size bolt. Mine took a little wiggling, but all the bolts were long enough. I even crawled under there today to have a look and they are plenty long.
@@theorionnebula707 thank you very much! Found the right ones at O'Reilly. Ends up the ones they sent had the wrong thread pitch and were 5mm short
Got it installed and everything else fits so perfectly. 💯
@@forgingluck Time to get out and use it now!
Thanks for making this video. Laughed at your jokes too. Good sense of humor.
So how’s it holding up? Would you recommend or go with something better?
I'd say worth the money. It has some scratches on it and I've heard it take a few bangs. It beats a hole in the oil pan for something so inexpensive! I'm also by no means a "hardcore" off-roader. I trust it to get me though anything and keeping my oil pan intact though.
What is the mount name?
I see my link is broken now. It is though EVO search " Evo JK air compressor mount." This link might work. tinyurl.com/34j8tmwh
I caught that bolt that you missed....thanks for the video.
Glad it helped out! I hope I remembered to get that bolt later!
i seent it!
Great video, I'll have to do this on my Jeep Wrangler Hard Rock Edition!
Time to get one!
Dremel is worth, Dremel is life. I wasn't sure when I first plopped $60 down for mine a long time ago, but I LOVE that thing for my hobby projects.
Yeah! I use it a lot now. I just had to work it in to replace struggling with a utility knife all the time.
Absolutely gorgeous. Quite enjoyed this, can't wait for more Jeep update videos as well. Keep it up my man.
