WILL INDIA's "ONE NATION ONE GRID" FACE HURDLES IN THE 2030s?
A few days back , I had delivered a talk on our " One Nation One Grid", which has been working reliably to provide quality and stable power supply in an un-interrupted manner across the country for over a decade. The Grid is getting increasingly enriched with renewable energy , which has a different characteristic of variability as compared to energy from Thermal plants, and therefore, having the potential of posing hurdles to the Grid performance. As the Grid capacity is likely to have more than 60% of installed capacity in the form of Renewable Energy by mid 2030s, certain level of curtailment is inevitable unless some structural solutions are implemented.
2. In this talk I have brought to the fore the likely hurdles we can face . #renewable energy #one nation one grid # variability of solar energy #Curtailment on Grid operation #Energy link to Sri Lanka from India #Energy link to Andaman island # Flexibility and reliability of Grid

Sir, you've made things so clear and simple for everyone to understand and assimilate. I do hope the government also takes note of this and takes corrective action where required. Hats 🎩 off to you.

Thank you Kanna Got some information about CO 2 emission global warming measures to reduce it etc

Your analysis is insightful, Sir. As a PhD student specializing in Logistics Optimization in Norway(where coastal shipping is used extensively within the country), I am keen to explore the government's initiatives concerning the potential of inland waterways, particularly in states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, and the North Eastern region of India. These areas notably have a per capita income below the national average. A significant contributing factor is the underutilization of rivers. Historically, the ancient Mahajanapadas harnessed rivers for navigation and trade, leading to their prosperity. However, modern India seems to have overlooked this asset. In contrast, countries like Germany, China, and the United States have effectively utilized their rivers, contributing to their status as leading global exporters. I have yet to find a comprehensive report detailing the costs of river dredging and the yearly and monthly updades and plans for companies from inland waterways. This gap in information leads to a degree of pessimism about the Indian government's capability to undertake large-scale infrastructure projects, which require extensive planning and coordination. Furthermore, the bureaucratic system in India, particularly the role of IAS officers, seems to lack transparency and accountability being the biggest curse of India. There's a pressing need for regular updates and effective governance in this sector. Ideally, individuals with a deep understanding of these issues, possibly like yourself, should be involved in steering such projects towards success. Please keep up the great work of informing people, you never know who finds it! :)
I am glad that you have found the PPT useful . Many thanks for the comments . Best wishes for your research .
