Looks? Ridiculous. Sounds? Great! But never ever be seen riding that on public roads. Oh the shame! Cafe bikes should be banned from being registered. YUCK!
@@theaustralianconundrum I guess liberty isn't for everyone. But good luck living with bans. Seems like you're in the right place. I'll keep doing what I want.
@@pmcclassics5730 You wouldn't know what liberty is. No one does what "they" want. Typical Amuricane............. Up there on Walton mountain with your cousin Raymond a Coondog and a shotgun? I hear the Banjos from here. Wanker!
Those cigar pipes just have to go!
Sorry to say, but you have no idea how to ride a two stroke.
Those who have never ridden a 2stroke, haven't ridden.
Superb build .
Pretty cool bike. Just wondering how much and where this is?

NICE!
Good looking build. But a 2 stroke street bike ain't for me.

@@pmcclassics5730 how did you get the neutral start switch for the automatic transmission to work with the manual transmission ? Do they use the same connector end ? Or did you just cut the wire and connect the to wire ends together & bypass the neutral start switch ?
Did u sell it?
No, I still have it. Other than making this video, I never really tried to sell it.
Beautiful bike man I love that color!!!! Sick bike, I just got into bmx bikes and my last one was a maroon scwinn I got from academy probably around 2008, it got stolen shorty after lol and so far I picked me up a 1997 kawasaki z1 bmx bike, and a mongoose 😂 but these scwinns are so clean man! Need to find me one, if you want to sell it 👀👀👀
I still have my flat black frame hanging up but its cracked
Nice looking.Sounds great.
Awesome bike, and that 2 stroke sound !!!

Do you have to replace the computer for a four-wheel drive
I didn't t in my 96. I use the same computer that was in the truck. Some people have said that you need to replace the computer if you want the 4x4 light in the dash to illuminate when the transfer case is engaged. But mine does anyway. I can't say if that's 96 only.
@@pmcclassics5730 very helpful

I didn’t do a transmission swap. Still using my E4OD
I have a 2003. Never letting it go.
you may be able to kit the fork with gold valve emulators and springs from racetec. They made a huge improvement to my GS1000E.
They actually make a kit with gold valve and springs. I may do that at some point but I'll probably sell it before I get to that.
What do you like better about the Yamaha XT500? Our Yamaha XT250 has had a noisy engine from day one. The XL500 was the bike to have until the XL600 came along. I am blessed to have one of each right now. I do enjoy the 500 partly because of nostalgia, but the 600 is better in every way. Happy trails!
The XL500 is better in pretty much every way except parts availability. You can get a lot more parts for the XT/TT.
Whats parts are needed? Do you need a 4x4 transmission as well, I have 5.0 2wd with E4OD 95. Im guessing what is needed is 4wd drive axle transfer case, drive shaft, shocks, gas tank sheild?
Sorry, just seeing this. I bought a rolling donor chassis. So I used pretty much everything, down to nuts and bolts. Mine is a 96 with 5.0 and E4OD. The donor chassis was a 95, 5.8 e4od. Yes, you will need a 4x4 transmission, though you COULD turn your 2wd transmission into one depending on how comfortable you are tearing down a transmission. Or you could pay a shop to add the 4x4 tail and output shaft to your transmission. Yes you need the Transfer case and the BW1356 need to be inspected for known problems. Youl need the front and rear driveshafts, and the complete dana 44 TTBs with brakes. I reused my 2wd calipers, brake hoses and shocks. My donor had some type of heavy lift springs that were maybe +3 over 2wd. If you go higher than that, you will need shock extensions and brake hoses. My donor was an "off road" version with the tank shields so I used them, but you don't need them. You will need the 4x4 cross member. There is also a transfer case shield that I used. I kept my original rear end because the 96 2wd uses 2.5" wide springs that arr actually rated for a higher load than the 3" springs that the 4x4 came with.
@@pmcclassics5730 fantastic thanks
The 2wd has two gas tanks, the 4wd has one, how did you circumvent this to get things to fit? Did you swap gas tanks as well
My donor 4wd chassis had 2 tanks. It was an OFF ROAD package, so the tanks had metal shields which I used over my original tanks. The tanks were all the same size. Other than putting the shields on, I didn't have to do anything to the tanks. I know the Bronco has 1 large tank and some guys put Bronco tanks into the pickup trucks. Maybe someone has swapped a Bronco tank into your truck. Do you only have 1 fuel door?
@@pmcclassics5730 mine has two doors, both work. Working on the parts list of what I'll need to convert to 4wd. Sounds like a donor with some rebuilding is the best bet
@@robbobsjobs8456 I got lucky and found a guy parting a 4wd extended cab and I was able to buy the frame and drive train really cheap. I removed most of the parts before hand and rebuilt them so they were ready to go for the swap. I couldn't be happier with the result. If you are mechanical at all its well worth the effort. A lot of guys in facebook groups will try to tell you its more trouble than it's worth, don't listen to them. I did all the work over the course of about a month working alone. If you have help and can put in long days it could be done over a weekend Now I have a clean, low mileage F150 4wd for less than $1000.
I have a 1980 xl 500r super cool and fun bikes. Mine only had 1600 miles when I got it I got it running and i will choose that over my harley more then half the time lol
I have a yellow pro stock se frame for sale NEW in plastic never been built
Does Schwinn even make 20 inch bikes like this anymore?
I have no idea what they make these days. The last of the quality stuff was 2001.

Will buy for 1000 rupees. Thank You friend good good
This is a rad rebuild. My first bike was titan 500. It did just under 200 thousand kms. Yes, it was rebuitl a few times but nothing serious. Good on you. Cheers, Simon, Australia

🤘😎🤘 RAD Predator ! ....😁Ahhh those were the days dude ... I had a 87' baby hot pink Predator freestyle with spokes white tires and my Mom hated that color Sooo bad 🤭 she couldn't believe everybody liked this bike with it being a girly kinda color, she had no clue about the scene back then 👈😂 And to make her happy me and Dad eventually went down and traded it in for a Free Form Yo ! Chrome frame red and white trim black mags white tires 🤘 I gave it to a kid that was drooling over it in my garage back in 04', it was in awesome shape because I got back into dirt bikes and when we All got our driver's licenses, we gave up free style and jumps at the clay dirt pits. With that added Schwinn little hoop bar on frame above the back brakes, I could surf that bitch lean steering everywhere I went, be barely rolling no momentum and do it 🤣 too Puhahahaha !
The 98 had the old dropouts

Question, do you have to worry about the computer at all when doing the change with the e40d, or is that only with the push button 4x4 compared to the manual 4x4 lever, thanks
As long as you stay with the same transmission, you don't need a different computer. I had people tell me that none of the 4x4 lights in the dash would work if I didn't have a 4x4 computer, but mine do. I'm not sure what happens with the pushbutton transfer case. I have been told that the wiring is there behind the dash. I can't confirm that it is, or if the pushbutton transfer case requires a different computer. Another thing to keep in mind is that my truck is a 96 with OBD2. An earlier truck might not be the same
@@pmcclassics5730 thank you, yah I’m gonna go with manual TCase then for my 92
Shouldn’t the transfer case shifter hole have a plate that covers the hole on the 2wd trucks? Maybe it’s different for auto trucks but my manual 95 already had tcase shifter hole precut just covered, and the holes for the boot hold the plate on..
No, there is no precut hole there. At least not on a 96. Somewhere in that video you can the pad where a hole should be.
@@pmcclassics5730 good info, it seem that maybe the pre- obd2 2wd trucks do have the hole cut then? Seems possible to me
@@calebnezat8418 maybe, but that would only be 1 year. It's possible. I've never made a point to look under other trucks. If there is a cover plate it might be handy for locating the hole that needs to be cut in trucks that aren't pre-cut.
I’ve seen a few without but all of my 92-97 cabs are 2wd and have the plate in the floor.. the insulation was perforated from the factory to just tear and and trim the floor to size for the hole.. the plate usually isn’t reusable after removing because they use a lot of sealant and they get bent up when removing
@@calebnezat8418 That would have made things a lot easier. I had to use a cutoff wheel to cut the metal. Then trim the floor mat and insulation with a razor blade.
Lesn it over until gas comes out the over flow it will fire 1 2 kicks everytime
