Thank you for this video, I just ran across it today a year after you put it out and I subscribed to your channel. I have been on the hunt for one of these trees for years. As a kid I did not like our aluminum tree. As an adult that loves antiques and vintage stuff, I'd love to have one. When we cleaned out my parents' home after they passed, I could not find it in the basement. Come to find out my sister and her husband threw it out. Everything I find it either so expensive I can't afford it, or it is junk. I bought a similar "new" version of one of them on Amazon a few years ago. I put it together and looked at it with disappointment. It was an ugly barren tree. I boxed it up and it is still in my storage shed. I thoroughly enjoyed your video, and I am going to buy your book, and I will stay on the hunt for one. Take care!

So I'm down to the music bix. The coil is shorted out and some comb teeth are missing. I can rewind the little coil, but the comb? Is there any chance that Tom Ingersol would have a source for the Breitler music boxes? He must of when he offered the reproduction. Any contact info for him? I can't find a website of any kind.

I'm restoring one of these right now(Heirloom Spincraft), I bought off Craigslist from NY. This one has a gearbox that drives the turntable instead of a belt. Looks to be original. I got everything working but the music box. The little motor field coil is bad. I don't know how to source another or even 'who' made the music box. Appreciate any info you can pass on!

William A . Warren was my great grandfather. He was still alive when I was born but I don't remember him. We used a Warren plastic Christmas tree every year until we moved to Oregon and could cut a fresh tree from our property. I have no idea what my dad did with it. Great memories..

For a fantastic and different look to your aluminum trees, wrap a string of LED lights around the pole before installing the branches. The denser the tree the better the effect. Prepare to be dazzled!

I was recently bemoaning the fact that I’d likely never get to Manitowoc at Christmastime to enjoy Evergleams on Eighth. Thanks for letting me tag along with you on this journey where I suspect I was able to experience Manitowoc better than having actually visited! The trees are of course, stunning. And your contributions and generosity are appreciated by all of us lovers of these mid-century treasures.

Hi Theron, is the Space Age Christmas Trees exhibit currently ongoing / on display? If so, we'll gladly drive up from Austin this week! I thought it was a couple years ago and that it hadn't been set up again since. We have many an aluminum tree and would love to come see yours!
