Well it doesn't really make jack o viable in the slightest. Yeah you can't reversal that on wakeup but you can just block low all day. Without an overhead, she cannot do proper mix. The enemy will continue to block low and all you can do is throw or return to neutral otherwise you're taking a full combo to the face after the minion goes away. You literally have to play her like a grappler since her mix is a low/throw mixup. Even then actual grappler characters have at least 1 or 2 overheads. Jack o has none. She's usually played like rachel from blazblue but even that character has an overhead and has better mix than a few actual rushdown characters which is why rachel is top tier. Very scary character to go against. Jack o is a push over. This is why i switched to sol. Sol has actual mix. Jump in overheads, bandit bringer, throw, command grab, and 2d. His neutral is actually good and isn't just spamming 2d the entire time. Even if jack o can create space depending on the character if she throws out a minion, she's taking a full combo to the face. I've done it to multiple jack o's before when they threw minions in neutral. Did the optimal midscreen meterless combo using sol so obviously it was a stomp match. I even beat fundamentally better players who play jack o. All i did was spam bandit bringer, NRV, and HMC. Im a masher and i beat fundamentally better players than me because they played jack o. That's why jack o will always be the worst character in the game.

during the safejump setup if you just let the minion fall instead of throwing it to the right its a actual gapless set-up and it still ends up behind them.

Awesome video. Any tips for preventing one-inch punches from going the wrong direction? 80% of the time when I attempt the first combo, striker does one-inch punch facing away from the opponent and misses.

How tf do you land stuff after the first dive kick? They always recover too fast for me

Before the recovery buffs you could only get this stuff off of doing super jump which was hard sometimes. Great video!

Do you know any safejump setups which can mix up whether the jump is landed behind or in front of them? Chipp has such a cross-up safejump off of 2D and it is extremely spicy, if Gio has it too she might be worth picking up
