This is my first time working with larimar. I was told to not grind it on the coarse wheel, which is why you see me shaping it with the 180 grit and the rest with the 60 grit. Stone Intarsia Waterfall Pendant - part 5 - All Parts Assembled

The final pieces in this pendant are epoxied together. A backing is added to ensure stability. It may not be necessary, but I've dropped these pieces on concrete without them breaking so I feel like the epoxy and backing to a good job holding everything together. If you purchase a piece no guarantee on it not breaking if dropped!

Continuing to add pieces onto this stone mosaic necklace using a flat lap and 330 epoxy. I also clean the stones with acetone before gluing which is shown only in the "part 2" video Music by Too Man Zooz. Check them out! They're amazing!

drilling hole in stone using diamond core drill bit. drill bit is 1.25mm. Beginning of video is real time, then when the pitch of the foredom changes the video is significantly sped up. Drilling through the aventurine took about 3 minutes

@@sacredtotems and yeilding good results! Where are you sourcing your stones?
@@RegularBiscuit I buy a good portion from the Tucson gem show once a year and Quartzsite as well this year. There are also 4 or 5 companies I order online from to fill in the blanks of more common stuff
@@sacredtotems never heard of a gem show, but the results are clearly showing! Keep up the good work.
@@RegularBiscuit Thank you! There are gem shows all over the country. But Tucson, AZ is the biggest one in the US. People from all over the world come to sell rocks, minerals, jewelry, etc. There are like different shows happening all at once, so it's a great place to pick out some nice material. When buying online you get what you get for the most part
Looks like a lot of hard work. You must have put in so many hours learning this craft

I'm so glad! I haven't a different event this year during pagan pride in August, but I'll be at Beltane in the Hills in Morgantown May 13th
