Hi! If I'm using a primer, should I still use nail glue? Or does the nail primer act as my glue? Thanks 😊

I'm wary now. I brought a load of Ebay nail treatments, Essie, Zoya Color Lock system and MUA UK nail polish and my nails are still chipping. The expensive gel polish is lifting after 2 days, Polish chipping! Fed up now, had enough! Another step with primer. I'm wary, my once long, healthy nails just don't break and snap too eadily 😭! Had enough oh

I developed the allergy after the first time I got acrylics at a salon. I went to the doctors and they didn't know anything about it so I had to research it myself. Now I do my nails myself with get and poly gel but I still get reactions from time to time and the cortisone creme seems to be the only thing that works

I got a builder gel for my nails and it tends to get very hot while curing what could be the problem

Press on nails look more like real nails. Acrylics and gels are always really thick and chunky and look very, very fake.

I am wondering about the nail gel removers that peel and flake the soft gel polishes, the only pro I see that is it fast, but it can burn the skin. It is better than filing/acetone bath for me but I am wondering in what you think and suggest!

Oh wow, I never primed nor used dehydrators, I think I saw somewhere that alcohol is a cheaper alternative and I buff my nails to put on rubber base. Maybe I am lucky but the only time I had my gel lift is when I was a complete beginner and I oiled my nails and applied the gel color lol. But thanks for the information. Super helpful!

What's interesting is acrylic takes longer to perform and execute but is cheaper and the polygel just needs to be molded and cured but is somehow more expensive to me that does not make sense because you can get more clients in your chair if you're doing the quicker service😮

could you use the rubber gel as a base for the builder gel?

Dip isn’t better for your nails considering most people don’t get fills so you’re refiling the same nail multiple times but with acrylic you can fill in and only file the new growth area. Normally dip takes longer soaking off as well due to the resin just being nail glue and is gummy when soaking vs. acrylic crumbles and wipes off especially when filed thin and soaked. Both can be equally as bad or good it really depends on the technique and technician ☺️ hope this helps everyone and everyone simply enjoys the beauty

I just brought polygel and slip solution. The polygel is hema free, but i had the worst reaction ever. My nail technician also changed her products to accommodate me. I finally stopped going to her after having my nails done for years. I am not sure if the slip solution was the cause of my allergic reaction.

ive never exerienced a quick and easy application of dip powder. every salon does acrylic much faster in my experience.

Ok and it sounds good also l think poly gel will be better for me because acrylic nails are nice too but they damage your nails more so l think poly gel is better for me then acrylic 😊
