That's a lovely vlog. I must look up the tips re cleaning. In our family my granny bought the christing robe in 1959 for my eldest sister. It was worn by the 9 of us, some cousins, my children's generation and hopefully now that my daughter is pregnant I'd love it to be used again. You're little girl looked beautiful. Such good tips. You did a great job on the dress and jacket, they’re gorgeous😍 Well done on putting the tee under the dress, a great idea and you can barely see it. Ailbhe looked fab, the jacket really elevated the whole look. The christening dress and shawl are also lovely. Years ago, when doing my City &Guilds in patchwork and embroidery, we were told to store precious white fabric in acid free black tissue paper to keep all light away from it, even though it was then stored in a box. Hope that helps.

I wish I could like this video more than once! I finished the core closet t shirt assembly, and the neckline (tore it out once due to puckers, but I got it right the second time!) following your instructions. My Shmetz twin needle has been idle since i bought it years ago.... not anymore!! I would have bought some t-shirt jersey from Crafty Studio, however I am in the U.S. so that isn't practical.... at all! But my toile is very wearable and I couldn't have done it without you. Your demeanor is so friendly that I was confident that I could count on your guidance. Absolutely thrilled to get that neckline right (it's the little things in life, right?)!! Thank you!

I’m late to the party, only catching up now. My favourite make at Frocktails was Kamala’s gold silk dree. You ladies are gas on the podcast, my french has improved no end! My favourite part was Anna’s face when AnnMarie admits she didn’t pre wash some fabric, or overlock others! I’ve just bought some of the Pimms fabric - such a summery vibe. Yes, I’d be interested in a weekend jacket making class. Delighted to have got my afternoon tea Frocktails ticket. ❤

I absolutely love her tutorial on how to make tee shirt by closet core, I never sewn up with a closet core pattern so this is the start of something new, you made it so easy to follow am just asking I just notice you got a thread holder thing behind your Sewing machine and you Tell me what is it called and where can I get them From in the Uk.

OMG my first time watching you. Too funny, I felt like I was having a chat with either a friend or a sister. When I was a kid I was so jealous of my Catholic friends and first communion. Not only did they get the white dress and veil, but they picked out a name. I had to wait until the age of 14 for confirmation in the Anglican church. I did wear a white dress but so not the same. My most favourite sweater I have ever knitted is a cream coloured fisherman knit turtleneck, made with very inexpensive cotton yarn. I think I've had it for close to 25 years. Unfortunately pure wool makes me so itchy. I hope I can watch the live video, but with the time difference from Canada I'm not sure. It's also my birthday so I could be celebrating. And I don't think you talk fast. I'm a fast talker and I tell my husband I'm a fast listener. I hope you post pics of your daughter's dress and also your confirmation dress. I bet it's pretty.

I like your t-shirt; the scoop is a little low for me, but if I have a try at making it, I will use the tutorial that you mentioned to adjust it. I am learning how to sew my own clothes and have just finished my first knit garment. It worked out better than I expected, and it actually fits. I am not sure if it would be suitable for you, but I used the free pattern by Itch to Stitch called the Lago Tank.
