Opening a box on the table saw

Making battery holders for my tripods and GoPro.
มุมมอง 473 ปีที่แล้ว
For a few years, I have been using duct tape to fasten a power bank to my tripod in order to keep my GoPro powered over a longer period of time. It is time to upgrade, and I do so with some scrap oak from a previous project. Follow me on social media ► Instagram: rolvvalle Twitter: Valle0487 Facebook: ValleWood/

Screwdriver holder full real-time build video
มุมมอง 2215 ปีที่แล้ว
So, I made a holder for my screwdrivers. Used some scrap wood I had laying around. Nothing fancy, but still a useful project in my organizing project in the shop. I just hope I don't end up in a copyright issue with the #MakingIt podcast.

Watching glue dry

I used my #GoPro with a power bank in order to make it work overnight. Just for the fun of it, and to test if I could make my GoPro last longer than the built-in battery will last. Roller stand holder

I am building a roller stand holder in my shop, just to get it off the floor. It is a nice distraction from what I am really doing in the shop, building a farm table.

You make it look really easy! The instructions are actually confusing as the pictures for the clamp and post don’t match up? But as an older women I guess I’m not as technical😅 Thank you

Hi, Quick question, is the wheel and up and down motion smooth and controlled when operating it, or can you feel the teeth and jerkiness of movement because of that? Another one I have, when you let go the wheel will the machine go up on her own or does is stay in position, height wise, where you left it? Just received mine and it is certainly used not new one :(, with hard operating wheel, where the teeth can be felt and it does not come back up (the limiter is not engaged). Also the depth measurement is broken :(

Hi Sebna, My unit was a brand new one, and the wheel does operate smoothly and controlled. I am very happy with that. When I let it go it goes back to its zero position. I am sorry to hear that you are not happy with your unit.

@@thenorwegianmaker many thanks my friend for confirming. This is my first bench drill and was not sure what to make out of it. Amazon is going to send me replacement and I will return this one. Hopefully the replacement is brand new and sealed unit witch will work as it should. One extra question. Have you ever had to grease the shaft or the teeth to keep the operation smooth or is it constantly smooth from new?

    • @thenorwegianmaker

@@sebna I try to keep it as clean as possible at all times. I have used dry lube a few times. Never use grease.

Hei fra Holland, I had the exact same reason/issue with my belt driven drill press with a wobbly drill chuck and changing the speed with the belts has always been a pain in the butt. By the way, It also happens to be that my holidays are always spent around the Sognje fjord so I am also a frequent visitor of your beautiful country. Thanks for the video and happy drilling! :) Nice dog btw.

Cutting small pieces safe on the miter saw you could make a "hold down stick". Here is one video showing how it works: th-cam.com/video/F6X79jzuQzw/w-d-xo.html It can also be used on the table saw with cross cut sled.

  • @AdaptingCamera

Why not just take a piece of wood, drill 10 holes and fix that to the wall? I think actually that it would be qucker and better.

  • @AdaptingCamera
    @AdaptingCamera 3 ปีที่แล้ว

I am glad you like it. I like mine also, except for the chuck, which I changed. I show how to change it in this video in case you want to do it. th-cam.com/video/nCqVoaGVK8g/w-d-xo.html I had mine for over two years now and I plan to do some other improvements also, but nothing is high priority, so I take my time. BTW, I have my bench drill fixed to the bench. It improves the quality of drilling and makes it easier to handle.
