He just recently started fishing. This is his 3rd ever catch..and was his first time losing a fish.

I wouldn't recommend eating the bait. Its Alot of ingredients but it works great.

I've heard that sweet potato is good...but personally I've never tried it. I have thought about trying before myself though.

I always use corn syrup just as in the other video I have where I make them. If yours don't come out like mine then you may have put to much of something or gone to long in microwave due to different wattages.

It helps the flavor dispense more slowly due to the added thickness of the corn syrup. I like my flavor to leak out slowly.

If they haven't gotten eaten/fallen off from a hit or you have not caught a fish. They are normally still on the hook when I reel back in to rebait if I'm not catching.

I rebait every 45 mins to a hour

I rebait about every 45 mins to a hour...and they are still on the hook 90% of the time they do get soft and soggy after about that long. But I have left it for over an hour and caught on them.

Hell yeah it was a great day of fishing!

Yes I think we are getting close to spawn time... depending on what the weather does.

I have used sno cone syrup before...it doesn't seem to work near as well for me.

I don't have a fly tying vice. But I could imagine how that would help! Thank you!
