You gotta stop the pause-play-pause-play, you can make commentary while the video is playing. I promise you that not every word you’re saying is going to be comedic gold. Let the video play for at, bare minimum, 5 seconds, not a fraction of a second then IMMEDIATELY pause to say 1 thing about what’s happening when we can’t even see what is happening.. You can’t say “just watch” and hit the play button only to pause a nano second after it plays. If shorts is making it impossible for you, then maybe clip a full video of what you believe to be the funniest highlight of your reaction.. Not w/e this is attempting to be, and if you’re tripping out about copyright, then perhaps this ain’t the path to take. Let the whole experience feel seamless. All should have a proper transition. I am certain if you were to adjust w.e tf this attempting you will have much better responses and possibly more views/subs. If you keep it this format of not even bothering to play a video while giving a reaction and pausing when there genuinely is a good moment to pause and riff then you’re going to see the same comment shredding you for no reason. Let it all breathe.
