Well, 5 months on and at the end of the 2024 season, how do people who have visited the park this summer feel about her management now? Her policy on ride availability is without doubt the reason footfall is down so much and whilst we never expect cheap food and drink prices at these places, she has moved everything to the lowest quality now.

I'm 5'10, used to be 6 ft (don't ask) and I have so many problems with fitting on colosus. If I go on an evening numbered row my legs are being forced in two different directions at once and I'm in a lot of pain.

I’m 6’6 and rode colossus when I was like 16 and a fair bit shorter. The restraint had me hunched over, my legs were bent back so far and feet angled so badly I was forced to have better ankle flexibility than a ballerina. Worst experience in my life, would rather be on a bus with my knee caps broken from the chair in front than attempt to go on colossus ever again. It needs a retrain, not a re-track.

When i first did ghost Train i loved it but when i did it again i didn't think it was that great.

I hate Storm Surge, it is an eye sore. Colossus is too rough. Quantum has some great air time tho 😂😂😂😂😂. Depth charge lost it's place as Thorpe removed the ocean theme but the airtime on that and views are great. Never did black mirror because I didn't see a point. I love has Colossus but my goodness it put me off riding the other rides. They are retracking the smoothest part 😭. NO NOT MR MONKEY'S BANANA RIDE NOOOO. Rumba rapids I love it but it's in the same state of Loggers leap before it shut, just dead. The moment they changed the soundtrack, the ride became awful. Ghost train needs to go.

Colossus is the worst ride at Thorpe Park by far because of how incredibly uncomfortable and painful it is 😫

Fully agree - Ghost Train is truly terrible, i actually enjoyed Deron Brown, shame to see this as a replacement - thanks for sharing, enjoyed the video

Had a good day today at Thorpe despite the queues… Storm Surge is such a slow loader 😂

Colussus is a perfect coaster 😍

I have just done my first ever rollercoaster ride in my life and i chose this ride, omg the feeling was something iv never experienced before i was absolutely petrified 😂 Once i got off though it was such an amazing ride

Submission was one of my favourites at AT. Definitely hated by most, but just hearing everyones loose change fall out when it went upside down was hilarious.

From a marketing perspective why would a park open a new ride near the end of a season? simple answer is they wouldn't. It make more sense for it to open as a new ride for 2025!

Well they said it would take 15 weeks. That’s the issue with towers they make big statements like this. It’s not going to be open till next season.

I saw someone calculate that the construction period ends about 2 weeks before the Project horizon construction needs to start in order for opening at the start of 2026 season.

At the time this was filmed, it did look possible that it would open this season but now it's looking more likley to open in 2025 along with a Galactica retheme and i can see it open as a new area themed to the Phalanx for the start of the 2025 season at Alton Towers!

If they decide to open it next year and retheme Galactica then it could make sense

I think they will Opening it this year & get it fully setup ready for the SCAREFEST Along with HEX so it will Filter the Crounds more 🙏

I rode this at the weekend, got 8 rides in. OMG such an awesome coaster. Love the theming, soundtrack and cycles. We were waving at you on the ERT when you were opening accelerator!

Hi Guys, a great livestream and thank you for sharing your thoughts, hopefully Nemesis Reborn will have some waterfallls at some point, a September / October opening is more realistic for Hex, Project Horizon has had various consultations being reissued and ammendments to the existing planning permission, so hopefully there will be further updates soon.
