seems like they fuck u hard if ur lease purchase
Knight transportation is ruining all these companies along with these foreigner taking loads at a low price, the best companies to work for if the government wasn't putting their 2cents in trying to make money off of trucking companies some of these companies thats out here would be great to work for. What gets me is when they all are connected and if one tries to blackball you in their system, they all agree with the others bs. Thats why most of their companies always find themselves going in a hole, because all the holes they have digged for someone else who havent done them any harm. If drivers don't want to work for a company because of their stupid policies or the company says one thing before you start just to get you on, an then change the pay rate and the routes then a driver has every right to complain to that company and if they dont have the integrity to fix the problem, get out of their equipment and move on, regardless of how they retaliate because surly they will face their own demise and hopefully it catches them on the spot.
You did the right thing move forward....
Thats you Caucasians roll. Dog hair and piss everywhere
How many companies have you been with?
Never drove a kenworth
@@harryknutts8428 I have driven multiple Kenworths but never a hooded truck such as a W990.
@@trucker_rob If they’re trying to get drivers, that’s a good way. I think
@@harryknutts8428 bay and bay doesn’t give these trucks to company drivers only lease purchase drivers. These are their show trucks basically saying we have nice equipment look at our trucks lol 😂
Sometimes I think about looking for a different job I do Chicago regional once in a while you get kinda burned out on seeing the same shit all the time you get kind of a wanderlust to go out over the road. are you in the lease purchase program
@@trucker_rob I never did a lease purchase. I’ve always been a company driver that whole side of the game is kind of mysterious to me.
Damn, Bay and Bay has W990’s?
@@jimmysavage258 yes sir, they have for a while now.
Are you doing a lease purchase on that truck?
How is the lease purchase at bay and bay. I am company thinking about switching to lease. They keep yall going
@@RoadhouseTexas4288 it all depends on who you’re fleet manager is and how you prefer to work. I myself, enjoy the LP side because it’s nothing like the company side. You choose what you want to run and make the most you can in a week. You have the option to decline loads and you get paid after every load scanned in by 7am Monday - Friday you get paid by 1400 the same day.
This is the first Trucker Rob video I’ve seen where he wasn’t b*tching about something.
Lmao 🤣 come on. That isn’t true but it’s close enough.
You missed out on the best company you can work for because you didn’t wanna wipe down so minor stuff and hook up a WiFi box lmao😂
@@RollingStoneTrucking in your opinion on best company… that’s a hell of a stretch from the truth. You can stay there and stay in your lane while I stay in mine thanks for watching.
Truckers ask the dumbest f*cking questions at orientation. Orientation would be about half a day if drivers would just shut the f*ck up and listen.
Rookies shouldn’t lease.
Fuel is dang near .50 cpm. That’s like .80 cpm before fixed. As a 2 year driver you could get .65-.70 with no expense. Not a lot of room there. To each is own though I’m not knocking you at all. We all out here trying to survive.
Another job for you to quit
Why did you quit at freymiller that is where you were before
@@williamleavitt1381 I quit freymiller a long time ago.
Your first mistake if you’re not a contractor you’re a company employee. If you were a contractor, you could take that truck anywhere and haul any load you want from any DAT board. They control everything about you including the pink slip to that truck. They also are paying you 1099 and giving you the expenses so that you were responsible for everything. You basically bought a job. There’s more than enough companies out there that will pay you well enough to take the same amount of money without any of the headache and the responsibility. Not only that, with WFX any money that you don’t spend on maintenance that they have stole from you you are not getting back. You have given them $.12 a mile free money.
T-rucker Y-ou’re S-taying O-ver N-ight
That’s not even your true pay because you have to withhold taxes on that. Your self-employment tax, Social Security, etc. Otherwise you’re gonna wind up with a $10-$12,000 bill for the IRS at the end of the year. Even with deductions. I think I’ll stay home and drive my semi delivering fuel five days a week averaging about 65 hours a week and having an average take-home pay of about 1750 after taxes for five days work. Oh did I mention the three weeks vacation I get at 11 hours a day times my current rate. That is being paid 55 straight hours for being on vacation. Let me not forget the $300-$400 a month bonus if I don’t screw up. That comes out to $4800 a year. I think my gross last year was somewhere around 132k. Not bad for a five day local job and I get to drive a Peterbilt with a 13 speed.
Sharp ride. I need one like it.
@@MrBdjoker2000 no problem, come over to bay and bay!
If they are paying you a little over a 1$ a mile, they cant be paying you your true rate, they wouldnt do it for that rate, they wouldnt even hardly be able to pay the driver and buy the fuel at that rate
lol I saw your video after I started here and you’re right about this place. Tryna be patient while I look for another job.
12530 Ledner Fork
QT dont take this card
You are not going to make that much now - very slow lucky to get 800 dollars
There layover is 36 hours before you get 100 dollars and they try not to pay it - for any reason
They are not the same company that they use to be - they do not give most solo drivers very many miles a week
They do not refund 500 dollars of the deposit - they charge you 500 dollars to clean truck

Shoulda stayed at Freymiller

Nice Truck Driver
I guess you learned your lesson about leasing. Didn’t matter you could’ve turned in a showroom new truck and they’re still going to charge you $1000 and not even give you an itemized list of what they did and how much it cost. JCT did the same thing to me. I will never lease another truck from another company again. You are nothing more than an employee paying for the truck and all it’s expenses and getting no benefits or vacation time. Better off being an employee until you can buy or lease your own truck from a private company and be able to move from carrier to carrier from time to time hauling their freight.
When are you guys gonna learn that you are not an owner operator. You are a company driver who is misclassified so they don’t have to pay a lot of taxes and Workmen’s Compensation. You don’t owe the truck you have no staking. You’re basically buying yourself a job. Do not lease trucks. Become a company driver. Do you wanna lease the truck you lease it independently from some company like rider or one of those others that you freelanced to contract onto a carrier and not be a slave to their Dispatch, truck usage, and everything else that they would do to consider you what you are, that is an employee!
If they were going to charge me $1000 to clean the truck regardless of how clean I kept it I would trash it. I made them earn their money. I probably even take a shit in the sleeper for good measure.
I worked for bay & bay and they had a trailer shortage I had to practically fight another driver for a trailer that I was sent to get
U can clean that man. Stop complaining
Is this with western flyer?
Saw an ad for them for a Lease Op with 3k-3.5k a week. I just laughed. I make that being a company driver hauling crude in North Dakota. Plus I get free housing. My brother grossed 144k last year only working 11 mos.
Any word on how to get those jobs I tried to apply for company called Jericho but I never heard back? And how often can you go home and keep your job?
Please what is the name of that company and phone number please message me
NO you don't
I like the freymiller hat workin for WFX lol <3 just a note. I giggled a bit.
U where at freymiller too
Why is week 2 only 500 miles?
Does that say 38 cents per mile?
Hey why is the truck payment listed twice? Was the lower amount brought over from last month?
@@Fr8hustler 2 makes 1 every week. A base of $408 and .30 cpm a week for all miles driven in a week = $ x,xxx.xx .30 cpm Is for .22 cpm is truck payment and .08 cpm is maintenance. If I remember correctly, I don’t work for them anymore.
@@trucker_rob Oh okay thank you. I was wondering how that went
Do you have to do a driving test during orientation?
Did they force you to go places ?
@@infinityLinks24 they try to but ultimately it’s your choice. That goes for contractors mainly but I’m sure you can speak your concern to the company dm/fm too.
@@trucker_rob I think I will pass up that orientation, I haven’t seen any good reviews online, Lease drivers are saying they are being force and if they don’t they are making them sit or canceling their contracts. Couple of drivers I spoke to at truck stops . So I won’t waste my time
I'm leaving Freymiller and truck driving today. Wasted my time.
Is it worth going bro ? Recruiter tryna get me going to fly out but iknow that 50cpm is bs
@@demigxd5854 I quit 3 weeks ago. The terminal is all the way in Oklahoma. Too much sitting around and waiting at customers. I didn't like my dispatch manager.
@@demigxd5854 The week of the 4th of July I sat at the terminal almost 3 days. They gave me a different truck and instead of my leaving the same day I was stuck there because the tablet wasn't installed in the truck and they claimed nobody was there to install it.
