My name is Heather. My channel is all about my experience making and selling candles. Additionally I provide marketing advice to other makers who may struggle in this area.
My brand represents all the strong, vocal women out there not afraid to speak their mind, but classy enough to listen to both sides and be tolerant & respective of other peoples opinions and views.
My goal is to help & collaborate with candle makers in some way whether they are wanting to start a candle business, have a business or just love making candles as a hobby.

I left a candle on for a few hours and the wick looked like this when I turned it off; I dont think I had seen that before. Makes sense that a cheap candle would have a bad wick.😅 Cut off the piece and will be reusing later.
Yep! And you could also use that wax in a wax melter if your wick fails again!

You are welcome! Keep watching I will be making more. Canva is so AWESOME. The only problem I have with it is that I spend way too much time goofing around and creating things than I should. I get sucked in!!!
try some farmers markets also we do wine+shop and I always make alot!
That's a great idea. Do you do them outside? If so how do the candles hold up in the heat in the summer?
@@shesaidcandleco.4984 my city hosts te wine +sip them and I always choose the inside spot vendor fee is only $35. Farmers is outside my canopy provide decent coverage.

@ssheridanable Hi! I'm so sorry! You are my first person to ever comment and I just found your comment! So exciting! ;) I actually got my tins from Amazon. I get my white jars from 7tins.com and the clear jars from thejarstore.com. They are the heavy rocks glass 13.5oz from Libby. Let me know what other questions you have!
@@shesaidcandleco.4984 Thank you so much! I am going to check out the websites. I find so many of the jars and tins to be sort of pricey and i've ordered so many samples from different places. I'm having trouble figuring out what a good price is. So thank you for your help, I appreciate it.
@@ssheridanable LMK if you have any other questions. Everything is priced great until you add shipping! It's the worst. I try to stay under $4 and the white jars are right at that point including shipping
