Thanks for an excellent clear video!
Champagne Flute section: I’m stuck on part 2 where you do the yo-yo, my stitch count goes up and I don’t see any decreases on my directions.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for this!!! It helps me with the Killer Queen cowl 😊
Just what I needed. Thank you

I am teaching myself to knit. I don't know I'm ready for colorwork yet, but I subscribed because this looks like one I want to learn.

thanks so much!! this method is really interesting
Nice! Glad to know the unique method. ❤️
looks like you forgot to include the beginning of this pattern. The pattern is starting with using the contrast color?? and the rest of the pattern!!
The video is to show how to do the Yip Yip stitch itself. You still need to read and follow the pattern for how many sts to knit first, etc…
It’s those wisdom teeth that get smarter! 😂🦷
Quick question: What do you do at the middle where the m1l and m1r are? There doesn't seem to be a clear 5th stitch down as it is where stitches are added. Does it dip down into the c1 or a little to the left or right? Those seem to be the options.
It's written in the pattern--on both the chart and line by line directions.
How fun!
So pretty and fun to knit!
A tiny tip for anyone who has issues keeping stitches in your needles as you dip - you can use a 2.5 mm crochet hook to dive thru and bring up the stitch to your right needle. As I’ve gotten into my sixties, I’ve found the I occasionally have to work find work-around a for some of the stitches that rely on better dexterity. I’m not ashamed 😊
Excellent thank you!
What an adorable stitch!!!
So helpful to see it done! Thank you.
This is so COOL! My first MKAL. I couldn't be more excited! I might have to leave work early today!!!
That is a cute stitch! Thank you for the tutorial!
Thanks for showing so clearly how to execute a dip stitch.
Very helpful. Also awesome Grail quotes 😂😂😂
Thank you for this!❤
Great if you knit continental, but if you don't it's confusing.
So simple! I love this.
Glad it's helpful!
Thank you these videos are so helpful!
Excellent tutorial. I’ve seen this called the Tuck Stitch, too. Example is the Koyo Hat pattern you can choose two color brioche or tuck stitch version. I found tuck stitch takes more yarn than brioche stitch takes which I found interesting and helpful information.
It is a type of tuck stitch, though I don't have a direct comparison for the yardage with it vs brioche in my toolbox. I saw Nancy Marchand's Tuck Stitch book recently, and noticed that she does her tucks with slipping and yarn overs over several rows, so I'm curious!
Found the pattern Mary ! 🙏
Mary I cannot find this pattern of yours can you advise pls !?
Thanks a lot. It's sooo easy. One time seen it works. Made me happy today!
Glad you enjoyed the tutorial!
Hahahahhaa 😂 love it
This is making a beautiful join!
It really does!
That's a phantastic technique. Is it possible to work this way with 3/3 LC / RC or more?
I would only use it when crossing only 2 sts. Otherwise, you have to pull your yarn around severak sts, and I suspect that will "cluster" them and not allow the cable to lie properly. I mean, it'll possibly look cool, but it might not be the cable look that you were aiming for.
@@maryannarella Thank you very much for your fast answer ❤️🧶❤️
So excited to be at this point…almost finished with shawl and weather is still cold! Can’t wait to wear it!!
It was a fun knit!! Glad you enjoyed:)
Please turkish❤❤❤❤❤❤
Awesome!
Love this!! Great tutorial! Thanks!
Another pretty stitch….can’t wait to get started on clue 3 tomorrow!!
So pretty! Great tutorial…thank you!
You are so welcome!
Thank you for posting these clips Mary there so helpful I never done a shell stich before your clips re so helpful
Love this!
I wasn't sure how a shawl/wrap like this would be worn, so I'm glad I watched this video. Now I just need to decide on what yarn to use to make the shawl inspired by one of my very favorite songs. When we were still going into work, I had a playlist with it on there. (I seriously can never be rick rolled as I always expect any link I click to lead to that song.)
Is it possible to demonstrate this stitch using the English method - throwing - please?
I was going to ask the same question. I keep getting a bit confused about whats going on🤣
Thank you Mary! So helpful!!
So pretty!
Thank you! 😊
