I don't like it. It's self-indulgent, completely ignoring the original Arabic flavor of the song. The original song is in the Nahawand maqam, which you probably don't know, because you completely ignore it's phraseology. The harmonies you play just clash with the original character and mood of the song.
I knoe my comment won't make a difference, and that probably every person that talented young man meets tells him about how amazing on the piano. But I admire from the core of my heart, the skillful mind of and hands of this young musician. It's not always somebody makes my heart make the famous upside down smile. Bravo !
