Standard, ABS-like, and Tough 3D printing resins

A quick overview of the three most commonly ordered SLA resins: Standard, ABS-like, and Tough. In brief, Standard resin is your basic option, which works well for most applications and offers the fastest lead time. ABS-like resin is stronger and ideal for engineering applications. Tough resin has more flexibility, making it great for thin features and tabs. To have parts 3D printed, visit www.i...

Idk how this doesn’t have better views good vid
I saw an other content creator use a PLA pro product and it impressed me. It seems like the answer to my printing problems. I now take heed when people say more forgiving.
I tried putting the printer on silent mode because everyone else on TH-cam is talking about how quiet they are but it didn't work and now I don't have automatic crash detection either. This is seriously the worst!
Mine has the same problem! I’ve tried everything. Someone please help! 😱
Looks like its too hot and its occluded. The heat could be something thats wrong but it looks like your filament is too runny for most printing purposes. But the occlusion? Your filament travels all over the place. Crack open your nozzle and clean it out. Id use a sewing needle or something else very fine to do it.
but what do I about the noises?
It has diarrhea, take it to the doctor immediately, it very critical
hey, that's cool!
Is this a commission from an aquarium? I can't see any other reason why someone would make a huge turtle
Yes. 🙂 It will ultimately be plated bronze but we used green filament just for the fun of it. 🐢
Slow and steady wins the race.
I haven't had much luck with it. I got a couple rolls that were too moist. After drying them they were crumbly which filled in the teeth on my extruder. I had to slow down my print speed to 85% of what I ususauly print at with PLA+. It is togh once it is printed.
We also slow down, especially on our large format machines running 0.6 nozzles. Very good point. It will still print faster than PETG (which is often the next step up from PLA), but it does require slowing down a bit. Like most of the higher end stuff, making sure it's dry and slowing down should get you the results you need without needed insane hardware to run it. In general, it's not as easy as Polylite PLA, or any other generic PLA, but it's almost as easy, and the results are definitely much higher end. Thanks so much for watching. We're working on new videos soon.
Sweet!
Great vid and information. I'd love to see more! Keep posting more vids
Intreasting. I'd recommend showing it off in the video. Otherwise, there really is no point in posting this.
Totally valid! Aesthetically, it looks exactly like standard PLA. To really show the strength, we'd need to get footage of it performing, and we don't have that. We'll definitely replace the video when we get some good footage of it performing. Thanks so much for watching. We're new to TH-cam, but we've got over a decade of experience in 3D printing, so we think the quality of these videos will improve as we go. We're working on some really cool stuff, and hope you'll stick around for it. ❤

So cool!
