My guy why didn't you send that Chimera out to kill the guys shooting you from afar at the end? You also did a lot of overwatching when enemies are like right there and you still had units capable of shooting them. Just shoot them.

nice match iv been haveing a lot of fun with this game. u should do a attack mission make a long rectangle size map like 3500x by 9000 (does not have to be exact size but u get it) and have like 4-7 objectives that you have to take one by one till u make it to the back and last objective. i think its fun and a challenge specially is you have a bigger city as the last objectives it adds a extra challenge, you normally loose a lot of fighting power and morale getting to the last objective.

I was trying to discern whether pixeltruppen move individually. The impression I had was that they do. Presumably modding the infantry will be straightforward?

Loved Empires, but I have struggled to get into Kingdoms. Huge map, lots of replay potential, but so small scale and limited game play. Hours and hours invested for limited return.

Did you mute the sound in the game? I can see why a Pak there on the beach - more visuals on tanks on the beach, but it did not matter because you moved to fast from the beach with your tanks..

at 11:40, you had no need to bail out yet. You still had 2000 ft of altitude.. there was a good chance you could have recovered from that stall!

Been enjoying these videos. Haven't been able to play the game since I bought it so I've just been playing vicariously through TH-cam. Definitely looks like a solid upgrade of the first game.

I tried this as the first mission in CM FoI and found it hard. Did not kill the Tiger either.

I need to say that after watching this match I completely lost interest in this game. It is based so much on rng and luck that is just unacceptable for me. Also, it looks it is heavily unbalanced and promotes playing mass archers whether on foot or horses. Those expert armoured horse archers seem to be OP. They deal huge amount of damage and can sustain a lot versus pretty much everything, according to the games of yours I watched. Same applies to immortals iirc. I might be completely wrong though, but that's what I can see from your videos.

CM would seem to remain the king of tactical infantry combat. Love the big 3D maps, but they seem devoid of the level of detail needed to support proper infantry fights.

Richard, at 1:51-1:57 you appear to zoom in towards units far away with some vignetting on the edge of the screen as if you were looking through binoculars. How do you do that in game? I must be able to see the terrain properly so I can site my troops properly. In the original game the isometic view is rubbish. I'm left guessing. It is annoying. This does not look good enough for me to upgrade yet. I want to be 100% sure I can click to view from a point I am thinking of siting a unit on. Click to view from that point during the game is essential. Also they have to improve these renders. Hope they will fix it or I'll wait for 3.0.
