Complimenti, bella registrazione. Grazie per la condivisione. Siccome a mia volta registrai quel concerto, mi permetto qualche osservazione. Io ho dei brani in più (ma finì il nastro e il bis "It's you or no one" non ce l'ho completo). Prima di "Easy to remember" c'era "One for Dea"; prima di "Uncle Bubba" c'era "Senor Carlos". Il brano 07 non è "Motherland" ma "Hannibal". Infine: va aumentata di 6 dB a partire da 35'33'' (immagino secondo lato della cassetta).

This is pure gold. Mosca and Marsh are very creative and superb players. Jewels from Tristano's school. Lets remember that Bird was a friend of Lennie, and he admired him musically (and viceversa)

Thoroughly enjoyed it, especially Ed Blackwell and Charlie Haden with that inspired solo at the end of “Lonely Women,” one of my favorite Ornette Coleman compositions.

2. Rosie (Bobby Hutcherson)

Would be great as an official release. I was in attendance and remember it as an outstanding performance. They knew that Philly had a notoriously critical audience when it comes to jazz, so I attribute that to the high quality of their performance.

I worked at that club during this show and met them.

What about The Kansas city Masher? Is that a proper name for this tune!

Good musicians, of course, kenny, green are top cracks, but the saxophonist improvises so wonderfully by phrasing Duke Ellington classics like here, every note played so clearly and distinctly.

Thank you so much! This line up in particular is Amazing! one of the Greatest Quintets. The dynamics, the arrangements and at the same time the freedom! the mini-suits with all tose quotes of great standards, true encyclopedias! the spirit! All the five are virtuosos but play for the team.
