Hello everyone and welcome back to MPTV! This is your makeup news and highlights!
Blake Lively stars in the new film The Rhythm Section and her character’s look has her rocking basically a bowl cut. But the real kicker comes when observing her makeup.
It’s a new decade and a new Gaga. Lady Gaga released the first song, “stupid love”, off of her upcoming album and with it came a very pink music video.
Makeup artist, Terri Bryant, has just launched a new cosmetic brand called Guide Beauty.
Taylor Swift's new music video, “The Man” was released on February 27th and in true Swift fashion it’s got everyone’s attention. But for those of you who thought Taylor only made an appearance at the end, wrongooo, because Taylor actually transformed into “the man” staring in this video.

Can we use Kryolan RELEASE AGENT SPRAY - will it work with Mel Gel?
How long should it take for the product to dry if we don't have a dehydrator? Mine have been drying for 24 hours but they're still quite tacky. At what point do we know to go to the next step and stipple prosaide?
It can take up to a week depending on climate. Gummy or tacky? They will always be a bit tacky until powdered down.
Mel Products Remover isn’t listed on the website. Do you have a link?
Remover is not longer offered. You can use any Professional Makeup Adhesive Remover. Graftobian, Mirastate, there are many.

How does it hold under a hot day? Is it sweat proof?
Miscellar water is the best thing I found fo remove the melpax paint, does not require the heavy scrubbing, just a bit of soaking and poof! It is also good for the skin, and very affordable.

Can I use 99% isopropyl alch instead of acetone?
Alexa Cantarini hi there. No you cannot. The pieces dissolve with acetone instead of alcohol so you can use alcohol based makeup on top without damaging the piece.
Question! What do you use to remove these and are these reusable?
Alexa Cantarini You can use our remover or any professional skin safe adhesive remover.They are one time use. All professional makeup appliances are one time use. However. If it’s just for fun and you remove the piece clean, then I’m sure you could get another use out of it.

Why the cling wrap on the back of the neck?
Madison McLain It’s used so that it holds the hair flat to the nape of the neck. Later, it allows you to glue higher up to secure the baldcap. I demonstrate the technique on one of the videos I did for the Stan Winston School of Character Arts (Brad Look)
Can you give a specific name for the 'water based liquid sealer' you used, or one you would recommend, please? I'm new to this & not exactly sure what you're using. Thank You!
Blue Marble from skin illustrator is a water based sealer. Hope this helps :)

How waterproof is this product would it last long hours in a pool with chlorine
jimmy Davies MELPAX will hold up better than any other makeup available. With something as intense as a pool the makeup artist will have to be attentive no matter what but the MELPAX will last the longest. It varies. I’ve heard it lasting hours and I’ve heard it lasting an hour.
Depends. Nothing will last in a pool. But I have seen it last a few hours.
