@Ryan Hanlin I as well. I also cut metal in my customer's kitchen and use existing countertops as workspace with worrying about protecting them.
Forgive me....but that kitchen needs A LOT more than a new backsplash.

Hey, Its Aaron the inventor of the MycroMat. You should really redo the video you did. You took the bowl out of the microwave the wrong way. When your taking the bowl out you should see the name MycroMat on the product. The flat side is for your hands and the grip side is for the bowl, cup or anything else that you might be taking out. Thanks again.
What if you miss and your hand hits the blade by accident???
