I still love the peterbilt Cummins x15, even if it’s full load Tesla semi truck it’s pulls better than Cummins semi truck but I won’t take the electric semi truck never I will take the peterbilt semi, of course electric it’s stronger than diesel but it’s not mechanically better than peterbilt.

There needs to be a whole hell of a lot more trucks if Tesla were to attempt this across country without interrupting other businesses deliveries with the efficiency of humans. Companies prefer cost effectiveness and both types of trucks are for their industries. Not you average Timmies driving around your model s. Give these trucks the fully loaded double trailer treatment during the winter seasons up north. If it were to make it just look at the time difference between how long the Tesla took vs a seasoned truck driver.

Semi will be on the destination while tesla is charging

Load both with 50 tons and see how much both can drive without having to refuel,charge. This doesn't show anything, yeah it passes the diesel but electric motors have alot of torque so its not even fair. Also you can see the diesel is carrying something really heavy and tesla trailer can be empty and we can't really tell.

They are still not able to figure out how to match 1300 plus mile range which diesel trucks have
