Interesting video, I really liked this game and thought it was really interesting. I remember wanting to get the costumes within the class I chose which was Sorcerer, but I had issues with it working on my phone as time went on and so I couldn't play it anymore. Eventually the game ended. I watched the trailer as in your beginning trailer when everyone swore the gray haired dude was Sephiroth which the devs confirmed that it was not. I decided since Glenn, Matt, and Lucia actually became named characters that the 3 rando models which were the gray haired character which everyone thought was sephiroth, the black man with the dreads who was probably a ranger type class, and then the guy at the end who cast the powerful ice spell to challenge Bahamut at the end, deserved their own story. So I ended up naming and giving each character a backstory. I named that fanfiction "The Forgotten Ones".

Yeah, making Mojo vulnerable was definitly the worst part of the boss fight. Especially with the fuses of the bombs being so short on the final phase where even if you do manage to grab one without Rein's fire or crystal setting it off, you might not have time to actually throw it.

Watching this video mostly convinved me to pick up the game I was planning on maining mewtwo and using shadow mewtwo as a secondary, but those got flipped once i got my hands on shafow mewtwo Right now im actually trying out sceptile, there's a lot of complexities with them you have to get used to but doing so feels rewarding over time One thing i will say about the video itself though, thanks for not bringing up tier lists at all and giving every character a good look, i really dont like tier lists myself, as it reinforces a mindset where, if i win with a character considered meta, did i win, or did my character win for me Hopefully this video goes on to get other people to try the game too

Note: As of the latest season of Flash Party at this time of writing, the progression system has been entirely revamped and this review is 99% outdated. Levels and currencies have been mostly removed, leaving only stickers. I might make a followup video at some point, but I'll need to sit on the new systems for a while to get a proper feel for it.

One thing I wanted to add is that there was another set of tournaments during Season 5, in mid December. SE didn't livestream it, but staff members did facilitate it. Both were held on NA server and were promoted both on the official Twitter (it along with the official Discord server is still up to this day so you can find more info there) and via pop-ups in the game itself. The Teams tournament was on a first-come-first-serve basis, anyone could participate in any of the 6 rounds if they joined the private matches quick enough (the codes were released on Twitter). Solos, on the other hand, had a brief qualifier period where players' kill scores in NA matches were ranked to determine the top 75 players who would compete in the tournament itself. Eligible players required a Discord account so that they could access a private channel with the match codes in them, possibly explaining why only 57 of us qualifiers ended up actually competing. There were 3 rounds in Solos, with SION being the ultimate winner of the tournament. I believe winners and runner-ups from both tournaments received exclusive event banners as prizes, being given out match-by-match for Teams and for overall performance across the 3 matches in Solo. Mark Feurerborn has livestream VODs from both tournaments, Lord Sato has their own POV video from Solos match 2 and Way of the Hawk and myself have videos from the Teams tournament (all on TH-cam). This second set of tournaments was very easy to overlook given how poorly they were promoted plus being overshadowed by the December holidays and the closure in January, but I just wanted to mention that here since a lot of people found it to be a fun final challenge before closure 💚
