After we decided to try to get along we played Daddy's songs, and it was like magic. This is a little montage of our growth from playing in the living room to taking His songs out into the world.

Another piece from our NYC trip. You can see how overwhelmed and excited we were. This is my favourite song from the Piehole Liars CD. Our friends from Session Americana sat in with us on this one.

The last scene from our upcoming Major Emotional Picture featuring many of the characters who graced us with their talents and stories about Daddy.
I met you once at a concert in ft worth. The johnette incident show. It was my pleasure. Dyslexia, to me, is like the hanged man card. Seeing a different perspective. Also, you might want to know that doing things backwards is very heyoka.
I can read from all angles now. Mostly, I just make stuff up, but I am always right, unless I am left. Sometimes there are degrees of right and left. Follow my path, but do it by creating your own. Just don't tell anyone I was there to meet you at the show. And maybe tell everyone that johnette couldn't play that night because she saw peyote in person. Shhhh.
I beg your pardon Laurie , but can I ask a question about the songs on the soundtrack of the movie "Streets of Fire"? Who was the lead singer on "Nowherefast" and "Tonight is what it means to be young"? Was it you or Holly? A friend of mine and I have different opinions and can't figure it out, listening to those songs. You both are wonderful singers by the way. Thank you.
I just truly love this peppy lil tune!
This is such a great song and, I agree with one of your other tunes, you're SO much better at what you do now. I'm still a sucker for you singing Jim Steinman tunes but I'm happy to hear some of your more modern stuff.
Just bought CD, love this music.
Did this album ever come out??
So beautiful, my friend. ❤
Glad she's still performing. Good songwriter and singer
Pictures of you...alone in my room...
This is horrid. You're better than this. Just being honest. I've listened to your music quite often. Hard to believe you put this out.
Just happen to stumble on Nowhere Fast by Fire Inc. and WHAT a voice :) Love everything I heard from Laurie, and still wondering why there are so few songs to be found by her.
Daah best!
My prayers and condolences for you Laurie with the loss of Billy. You are the most plays on my listening choices and Billy and Billy Beard and Jerome are my favorite drummers. I hope your circle is near this sad start of 2022 and the journey and material continues. Thank You for the volumes of content I am blessed to have heard you and Billy and others so many live perfomances.✝️🙏☘🇺🇸🇮🇪🎼🎵🎶⚘
Super
Awesome Sauce and not Jerry Garcia Groupie......somebody will take down my Facebook page when I depart as well....can't believe sixty-one year old Siren we are getting up there fifty six but feel twenty six......I am blessed you continue to create more music as I count my blessings in 2021 and my ears have great taste all the best to you as my prayers for Totalitarian Tyranny in CA and DC, MA, NY and western civilization continues may we rise up defeat the lies
10-9-8 captured me in my teens. Nowhere Fast revved me up. Your voice, Laurie, is gold sprinkled with revving of a motorcycle.
Beautiful, instant favourite!
Oh my! this song touched me in so many ways, so sweet, thank you very much for the music Laurie! my heart just filled with your awsomness!
Hey Farmer, Bob Bauer needs help with the maple syrup.
AWESOME song! i remember Laurie for the days in Boston jamming to 10-9-8 at the Channel....I loved Face to Face. So glad to find out that she is still making her own music, and true to herself. What a great song - and the guitar sounds GREAT too!!! Rock ON!
Thank you for posting this. Listened to it a while back and loved it. Thoroughly enjoy the video; you captured the moment, feels like I am there.
Almost ten years ago, after not hearing it for years, I googled 10-9-8 and it led me to TH-cam for the first time! Different style from the 80's stuff, but good work. Been a fan since 84! Thanks for posting your newer work!
There's never not another chance! So go big!
Love it!!! I was listening to Without Letting Go on my iTunes and thought, I wonder if Tractor is on TH-cam....and wow, a great live solo version at Laurie's own farm! And the bonus...she's driving a tractor!
Fantastic !
Lauries a Farmer now , and still making music , Awesome song
Laurie this is a great song , but i did love u 2 back in the day , please keep making music because you are awesome , you're one of my favorite singers
Nice work Lu!
Love the end of the video!
Laurie, if you can afford that farm and sundry critters, machinery, and the rest, I'm thinking you're not exactly, erm, hard up. But best wishes regardless. Cheers!
Dear KW. This film goes with the lyrics in hopes of comedic effect. If I didn't need financial help to make and release a record I certainly wouldn't be begging for funds.
Keep doing your thing Laurie! Don't let trolls like this one get you down!
I had trouble linking to your fund raising page so here's a link www.indiegogo.com/projects/laurie-sargent#/
It's Olivia johns grandaughter! Whenever I miss him I listen to him and all his friends sing!
John Holden
I agree with Karen, never fails to make me happy. Your father had a great voice.
real nice job, sweet, sweet song, understated and poignant
This always makes me happy.
This is such a beautiful song, John! Brings tears to my eyes every time that I hear it ~ God Bless!
Very nice.. so good to find this here. This is my favorite from Piehole. Have covered this a few times. Hope to see you guys soon - you're new biggest fan, Dana from Harlow's.
It's nice to hear Billy Conway sing. Well done!
special tune from a special man. thank you John for all that you do and all that you are.
I dig the song and I dig the video. Great job!!!
