BE YOU (It's time: Imagine Dragons) Antibullying video
A short film made by a young film crew. We wanted to best personify one of life's greatest lessons in a high school setting. One of the very rare and influential times when an individual will learn the most about themselves is high school.
We did our best to relay our true, simple, yet driving message: Be you, regardless of what people think, regardless of all of their labels and stereotypes. Ultimately, what you think of yourself, will always matter more than their opinion of you.

Wonderful video and kudos to one of my favorite bands for singing this motivational song! We are all human, we are all unique and all worthy of love and acceptance. If others bully you, it is because you have what they wish to have or do not understand- never let them or anyone tell you that you are incapable, weak or worthless.

I was working on some research today on school safety issues and I came across this video. With everyone getting ready to head back to school I would encourage you to take the time to watch the video. If you feel appropriate show it to your young adults at home. This could be someone close to you and you may never even realize what is happening. As parents, grandparents, friends, educators, law enforcement, and a community we need to do whatever we can to stop bullying. It starts with one. All it takes is for one person to take a stand against this cruel and hurtful practice. It just takes one act to inspire someone else to join in this effort, and others will be inspired by that. Bullying is often fueled by the support of peers, and without that support, bullying will cease. This can happen, but each one of us must take a stand to start this change. Please take the time to talk to your kids about bullying before they head back to school.

Thank you for this. My friend recently.. Committed suicide and she had the same issues. As well as me and a few other friends of mine. It's so great to see people taking a stand in this matter: over the Internet. Sure, it's kind of cliché but it helps spread the message a lot faster and it helps a lot more people! Thnx for this video.

Definitely solid cinematography editing my man! I went to West Jordan High School too. Now I am at BYU and I am applying for the BA Media Arts program to study filmmaking with a minor in Psychology. I like this video it made me cry
my W.history class is gonna try to get sticky notes and write positive things on it to put all over our campus for tomorrow to stop bullying. we had a big discussion about way to prevent bully.
