There is a tool you can buy that clamps on the chain with a punch that pushes pin out by turning a rinch on it tried to post a pic but it wouldn't let me i like how you showed how to do with grinder but it you dont habe grinder this tool is awsome i have a grinder n still prefer the tool its about $25

Ok i want to ask, would the tube draw moisture and make your truck run like crap. Is that possible? The guy i got the truck from said it was collecting water there in that neck tube,im thinking if it had a hole in it its possible. He took it out and ran the hose without the tube through the hole he cut in bed now it runs rite dont act like theres any water in it. That makes it hard to put gas in it with a campershell on it. Ima fix it factory but is it possible that it was drawing moisture in that way? It did fix it ,runs good.

Nice job. Usually when the paint is dripping from the tip it means you dont have the seal nut tightened or seated correctly on the needle. I usually back it off play with the needle and retighten until it no longer drips. You may have to play with the screw in the back too.

Thanks for that, but the notion that chains can only be shortened (or lengthened) two links at a time is not real-world practical. It can't be. Two links is a lot of difference, and cannot possibly get shorter chains to the correct length. So I know dang well there's a way to add or subtract just one link, there has to be, and I guess it's some top secret trade secret. Nobody seems to know how, or be willing to disclose that.

i am looking at a 5.3 alloy block LS for my right hand drive 93 GMC C1500 extra cab it is running a 350 and 4l60E,, engine has had poor service from new,, previous owners will hillbillys. vehicle is rust free and deserves a second life. steve in Australia.

I installed mine off the statter in my alternator but my tach says I’m at 4k rpm at idle…. There is no way that is accurate. How do I fix this ?

I put one of these ATK 8758 350’s in my Suburban. Been running almost 2 years now with no trouble. Is oil tight and no ticks or knocks at all. This is a stock type engine with a smooth idle.
