Arcade Journey
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 14 มิ.ย. 2022
Fussell's Arcade became Big Moon Arcade several years ago. We have evolved into "Arcade Journey" What started of with on Pac-Man machine has grown into about thirty classic arcade games. We are dedicated to finding, fixing, playing and enjoying Classic Arcade Games. Take a trip back in time and relive the days of the arcade when we were kids. Remember the day when we did not have cell phones, there was no internet, and televisions were a piece of furniture. After five years of collecting and learning about these classic pieces of Americana, I have discovered finding, fixing and bringing them back to their former glory is a great pleasure. It is beautiful to see kids of today react to the classic games the exact same way we did forty something years ago. Lets explore the journey together.

Wow! What a sad day, but I for one have enjoyed the videos. It was clearly a labor of love for you. We all know that life often takes unexpected turns, so be well and best of luck with the new opportunity! I hope to see you again soon.
Thanks so much. You're so right about it being a labor of love. The future is bright though and we will be making more videos.
Bye bye big moon. Hope you find a new place.
Victory is imminent.
Leaving the big moon arcade!? Aw man, but at least we were a part of the journey. I'm glad to be on the next journey!
The journey is the most fun. The next chapters are going to be incredible.
Bummer 😞
It's cool. Just a step on the journey.
If the Owner of Alehouse had worked with me, I would have a place to start moving into in the next few weeks. I'm still looking for a spot. You know of anything around 2000 SQ ft that is available in or around Athens?
I don't know of any place but will let you know asap if I run across something
I was definitely on the fence about contacting that seller. I got rid of most of my projects a few weeks ago, so didn't need to fill my shed back up. Unfortunately I found a cocktail Pac-Man and cocktail pinball machine this morning and have if full yet again, lol. But I needed those. Wanted to get some wheelchair accessible games for my business.
Projects always seem to come along in herds. Its always good to have something waiting ! We don't want to get board.
It's looking good
Very underrated game
I'm glad to see this machine coming back alive. It would have been in my shed for a few more years if I had kept it.
This machine has an iconic place in history! It's a great pleasure to bring it back to life!.
Back in the days I beat the 1st space invaders
Leave it O.G !😮
I think we are going to leave it a jr. pac!!!.
I love the art on this.
That game would have spent more years in that shed without anything being done to it. I'm glad it has found a new home. Three of my house games are heading out to the shed to make room for the two motorcycle games that I just purchased.
I appreciate you letting it go. I'll take good care of her!.
I wouldn't turn it back to a pac-man, Jr. Pac is a pretty rare game, I haven't even seen one in person.
Good point! Jr. Pac-man is a super cool game too!!.
The start of the golden age
The bezel from Richard Moss. I've purchased from him long ago. I wonder if he still sells anything 🤔
It's a small world isn't it!. I think I got that bezel from Bobby York!
The infamous... COIN JAM! And that's why two coin slots were made, in case one went out
its not a candle. its a leaf and branch on their head. this game also has several patterns. instead of the 9th key, you have the 9th pancake. there is a killscreen also on the 256 board, it takes about 3 1/2 hours to get there. since there is randomness in the game, there is no maximum score like pac-man. but you will have over 3 million points at that time. i have a few videos showing the patterns and killscreen, these were done on the arcade1up versions though.
That's super sweet. Really ties the game together
Nice work bro!!
How do you usually find all of these machines? These are amazing and I'm fascinated with arcade machines from the 1980's, especially Pac-Man ones. I'm hoping at some point in my life to own at least one of these things, but right now I'm just a kid who is obsessed with arcade machines and Pac-Man.
I watch Facebook marketplace and Craigslist. Each area has a community of people who are into these games. After a while you get to know the other enthusiasts and collectors in your area. That's super helpful too. Sometimes my phone just rings because somebody knows I'm into this.
Good video, except for making my echo freak out then tell me all about Gallagher.
Looks great!
That was cool! Sounds kinda like the turrets from portal
I love my BERZERK!!! Thank you, for sharing!!!
Thanks for watching Mark!!
I have an elf with a horizontal monitor how do I flip the picture
At start up, after the little animation picture shows, it gives you the option to push the setup button. The button is a little black button on the side of the game elf housing. Once you press the button it takes you into the game set up menu which has an option to flip the screen.
Howdy my Friend, I hope ya'll are doing well, Where you been ?? I hope all is we'll, its been a few weeks since you've posted last ?? As I said, I hope all is well, and look forward to your next video, Stay safe, God Bless and game on my Friends 🕹
Awesome video! I just got my Time Pilot last weekend. Yours is in better shape than mine, as far as side art is concerned. I've owned a few in the past, and the first one I owned in 2008 as a black cabinet as well. Your Serial # is close to mine, which is 1533!
Nice video! I once had a black cabinet Time Pilot many years ago. Mine currently has a Wico joystick, and a Monroe stick is on its way. Question please: what did you do to remove the E-clip towards the top of the shaft? I watched another video in which this piece was tough to remove. Please advise. Thanks!
Those E-clips are a little hard to remove. I usually pull them off with a sturdy pair of needle nose pliers. If the clip is really tight, sometimes I will use the flat side of a regular screw driver and push it off from the split side. Once it starts in the right direction, it will come right off. Worst case scenario if you break the clip; no biggie, they are just a few cents each at arcade shop!
Very nice... And thank you for sharing!!!
Glad to see it finally working! What happened to the 412 in 1 board? Are you planning on getting the arcadesd?
The game elf was so lame. The track ball games lagged. Some games had graphics glitches. It was just unacceptable. I think the arcade sd or the bit kit is a better way to go as far as game quality but the 60 in 1 in under forty bucks.
@BigMoonArcade I'd go for ArcadeSD. It's easier and higher quality, and it has more games than the 60 in. it's older than the bitkit but that's why it's still sold, plus if you want to play a game, just press a start button and the game starts right away, no waiting for a single game to boot. You also get 2 options for select menus, icons, or screenshots, I personally use screenshots since the older arcadeshop board looks like it
Awesome! You need to make more vids!
Great job
Number one thing to replace on Pacman & Ms Pacman is fuse block holders & edge connector on the harness. Eventually they’ll go or give you problems. Not that difficult to replace. When you do, it’ll get rid of the hum or hum bar in the monitor.
Yep! This Ms. Pac has been rode hard and put up wet! Its definitely due for a new edge connector! Believe it or not that original fuse block is still pretty decent.
Howdy my Friend, I hope your doing well, I've never heard anyone, Arcade owner or collector, say that the earth's magnetic field, affects Arcade games before, that's something new, Thank you for passing along that bit of information, good to know 👍 one thing I don't have, is that's homemade dousing device you have, it would helpful if you could go over how you built yours, Thank you in advance, glad to see you got Ms. Pacman up and running again, very Cool 👍 Stay safe, keep your people safe, God Bless and game on my Friends 🕹
Yes! I know it sounds crazy but its really true. Sometimes when you have a CRT that just wont degauss, you can just rotate it around in a different direction and it looks perfect. Its part science, part witchcraft! I will make a video on the homemade degaussing tool! It is very simple and usually can be made from spare parts that cost nothing!
That's my line :)
imitation is the ultimate form of flattery! When it's Broke its Broke!
Great fix as always! On another note, I would reinforce that exterior door with something better than a Kwikset lock. A Darth Vader themed key may not be enough force to prevent an unauthorized entry! On a positive note, at least the door swings outwards... Can't be to safe these days...🙂
Howdy my Friend, I hope your having a good evening, That Multicade is really looking good, I look forward to seeing you install te boards and play some games, till than, Stay safe, God Bless, and take care of your People, game on my Friend 🕹
That's turning out sweet
Spray paint rocks.
It’s nice to bring something back to purpose.
Howdy my Friend, I hope your doing well, Ya, I've been wondering where your at, it's been awhile since you posted a new video, I understand life goes on, and you gotta take care of things, but I'm happy you finally got the time to post an update on the trashed Super Pacman cabinet, it's definitely looking good, a lot of bondo later 😂 anyways, I hope it won't be as long to get another update on the refurbished Super Pacman cabinet, and see the final masterpiece lol Stay safe, God Bless and game on my Friend 🕹 and take care of your People
Awesome. My favorite arcade game ever.
OUTSTANDING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I saw this in wreck-It-Ralph breaks the internet
Yes!! Qbert was there!!!
Sry ment pt.1 when Ralph has 2 cherrys and gives one to Q-bert
Very nice
That’s a beautiful game I have always loved playing video games I never seen a game in that good 👍 of condition it’s excellent
A true classic. Glad you're bringing it back to its former glory.
Would the Galaga still be at this location? I vaguely remember where this place is because I passed by while the Super Pac-Man was sitting outside.
I've always got time for some Time Pilot!!! Still love this game. Tks for showing us the old cab.
Thanks for watching!. It's a very cool and special piece of history.
