มุมมอง 22721 วันที่ผ่านมา
In this simple English story, we uncover the power of a calm, quiet mind. In the way that turbulent, stormy waters make it difficult to see things clearly beneath the surface, a restless, agitated mind has the same effect, often preventing us from seeing the solutions to our problems clearly, even if they’re right in front of us. A calm, quiet mind on the other hand, helps us find our answers a...

Just a thought about love, happiness, and time! When Love enters, Happiness stays, and Time slips by in gentle ways. But when that Love begins to go, Time drags and Happiness start to slow. Very nice story.

Yesterday my brother was telling me Shirin mam created such a wonderful videos.
Thank you so much Shreya for such a sweet comment! 💜But I am not making these videos alone. We have a whole team @The Listener's Nest working to make these wonderful videos. And your sentence is absolutely correct, except that 'a' is not necessary, because there are many videos, not one. 😃
I love the way you've told us about such a common verb in such an interesting way. I am eagerly waiting for the next verb of the week. 💚
Thank you so much Pari for your kind appreciation. We are so glad you found it interesting! 💜
What is the meaning of the word compelling?
@@rupagupta5087 thanks for your question Rupa! 'Compelling' means majbur karna. To force someone to do something but not necessarily in a negative way. Example her interest and curiosity about the English language compelled her to watch more videos on the topic and practice everyday 😊.
Tell her to go out and bring a glass of water for me
That's a good sentence Rupa! You have used the indirect object correctly after the verb. Thanks so much for participating. 💜!
thank you so much mam 👍👍👍
You are most welcome Shiv! 💜 We hope that you make good use of this series and practice making sentences with these verbs regularly. 😊
@TheListenersNest of course mam
I would like to tell you mam that the efforts you have put in for us is exceptional thank you very much mam ❤️🥰

The story is very good Meditation is very important for us
@@badalbaghela1833 thank you so much Badal for your kind appreciation! 💜
Mam there was a word frantically i did not get it's meaning
@@HaseenaKhalifa-09thanks Haseena for your question! 😊 'Frantically' means doing something very quickly and with a lot of worry or excitement, either because you are in a hurry or you are scared. For example, frantically searching for your keys everywhere when you can't find them in their usual place.
@TheListenersNest thank you mam I got it now 🥰
Mam i found a word hay i think it means dry grass
@@HaseenaKhalifa-09 you are absolutely right Haseena! 💜 'Hay' is grass that is cut, dried and stored, to be fed to animals when fresh grass is not available.
What a super takeaway from this wonderful story! 🥰
Thank you so much Pari! 💜 really kind of you.
Nice motivational story. Thanks very much team The Listner's Nest . There are many words that I found new out of which one was, agitated . As mam you said I am just trying to guess its meaning from the context . Agitated means kind of disturbed ?
Many thanks for your kind appreciation Apurva. 💜 And yes you are absolutely right. 'agitated means 'disturbed, tensed, restless'.
May be a place on a farm where animals and crops are kept.
You are spot on Shrikant! Well done! 😊 Many thanks for participating! 💜
❤😊 nicely, red with expression good work, keep it up 🎉🎉
@@vidushiagrawal5407 thanks so much for listening Vidushi! 💜
mam my doubt has cleared related to it, thank you so much mam
@@SHIVGUPTAOFFICIALthanks Shiv for your kind comment! 💜 We are going to create an educational video very soon, explaining all the uses of 'it'.. that will help you revise the rules and clarified even more. 😊

@@ParizaadMalcolmMowdawala thanks so much Pari! 💜 Yes. They truly are Champs all of them! 🥰
Have you ever asked after me ? He was asking her for help, but she refused. Very helpful series . Thank you so much for starting it mam.
@@apurvachendvankar5549 wonderful examples Apurva! 💜 For your second sentence, you could also use the simple past tense for the first part: 'he asked her for help but she refused'. Your original sentence is also not incorrect, it's just that native speakers would prefer this structure for uniformity across the sentence, mostly because the act of asking and refusing would take roughly the same amount of time. Thanks again for sharing! 😊
Thanks a bunch mam for your valuable feedback and the information you provided😊
😊Thank you so much mam for bringing helpful series it's really helpful for us. ❤ And my practice sentence is "he asked for a glass of water"
Thanks so much Mohit for your kind appreciation. 💜 Your sentence is absolutely correct. The preposition 'for' is used most commonly after 'ask' if we leave out the indirect object. 😊
@@TheListenersNest thank you so Mach mam for explaining it
My practice sentence I ask my doubts to my teacher and friends
Thank you so much Haseena for sharing this example with us. 💜 You may have noticed that you have used the direct object after 'ask' rather than the indirect object. You are absolutely right in doing that because the indirect object here is really long (my teacher and friends). In such cases where the indirect object is long, containing more than one word, the direct object will appear immediately after 'ask. How much more interesting can linguistics get! 😊
@@TheListenersNest I did not know the reason of it thank you very much mam for explaining it ❤️
Thank you so much mam for bringing such a useful series 😊
It's our pleasure Haseena! Thank you. 💜
