This is my attempt at hitting off the great Bill Hillhouse(: After my pitching lesson I asked if Bill could pitch some movement balls to me. I did get a few but wiffing was the order of the day.

Part of my lesson with Bill Hillhouse on 20-Aug-13. We were working on adding speed to my mechanics. Mostly throwing rise and drops but added a loop to the start and working on more front leg loading. Most pitches were between 52 and 54. Please comment if you are a college coach.

I was a pick up player for the Washington Senators. Here are 4 of my 5 hits in 7 at bats for the weekend. Missed my first hit for a double and omitted my 'reached on error' with a blast into the third baseman and strike out for the other 3 at bats. My form sucked on the first one but improved for the others. Please comment if you are a college coach.

Bill throws underhanded like a baseball pitcher. Did you ever incorporate his style to yours? His arm is not long like most softball pitchers, but rather bent at the elbow when he's going overhead. Thx for posting.
Thanks. I do take regular lessons and only switched to him in Oct 2012!!
